I do hope that there will still be an option to launch the game without Arc. I'd dislike being forced to have yet another platform installed just to launch the game properly.
When you use an item as a crafting material the item gets used ( destroyed if you will ) which results in a fresh new item. So obviously any enchantment that's currently in the old item gets destroyed in the process.
> Has a bow. > Runs to the middle of the road in clear view and shoots an enemy down. Why?! Seems like someone doesn't get the basics of being an ranged class e.g shoot from cover where they can't see you so you can easily get your kills done :( Kinda meh-y that we have to find out about this from others though.
Step 1. Download Arc. Step 2. Install Neverwinter through Arc. Step 3. Remove Arc from your computer. Step 4. Add Neverwinter to your steam Library as a non-steam game. Step 5. ??? Step 6. Profit
While that may be true for PvP it's completely different in PvE where you can easily dodge most if not all hits that would put you at risk of getting killed. You might need to rely heavily on a 100% healing cleric if you're not familiar with the boss / mini boss's attacks but I can tell you from experience that once you…
TR here, I play with PUGS often and so far I'd say that I would prefer a jack of all trades that's able to help out the other party members with killing the trash that spawns while also being able to heal a bit when needed. I often find myself not taking that many damage in fights and unless I somehow get stunned the…
Same thing is happening to my quest, changed the whole map and everything and it's still showing up for a lot of people that do the quest even though the old scenery shouldn't even be there anymore. I've noticed that it mainly happens in zones where I was in when accepting / going to the old foundry quest, if I move to a…
I used to want the cap to be increased aswell but then I woke up and realised that as soon as they increase / remove the cap the AH prices will go up to even more ridiculous heights then they currently are.
It's quite simply really, just add the game to your steam library as a non-steam game and launch it that's all there is to it. @OP If you've still got the Arc launcher installed / running that may be why, it shouldn't crash like that though..
I've done the normal version quite a few times already and so far it's been a cake walk pretty much everytime, didn't take very long and was certainly worth doing for the daily AD reward. Maybe you got unlucky with your group matches?
A personally feel as that a greed only system would be much more fair then round-robin. With Greed only one player could get 5 good items or 5 players could get 1 good item, it's as fair as RNG can get. With Round-Robin you pretty much have to hope that you have a good position in the party.
Keep doing the feywild quests and get your daily key everyday, save them for the final dungeon ( Tower of Celaidine I believe it's called). It's very easy for a GWF to solo it and you can keep running it for a chance to get the companion out of the final chest untill you run out of keys.
You had one bad experience, it happens. Compare that against the dozens of times each day that people roll need on gear that they don't need and only want for sale purposes and you'll see that there's a valid reason for having an all greed system.
If they give players the ability to freely move around characters from account A to account B then the bot companies that are now only selling AD / Gold and whatever else it is that they sell will also start selling leveling 60 characters of X class which results in more spam from bots advertising their usual sales + the…
This may just be me but so far everytime that I have attempted to change the loot settings I got an error saying ''you cannot leave your party at this stage'' or something like that, so even if you'd want to change the loot settings you wouldn't be able to because of that. I like the idea though, it's happend far too often…
I've done the Spellplague Caverns on normal ( not that that can be compared to epic ) but for as far as memory serves the final fight did have alot of adds but they didn't attack or anything, just stood there being creepy. Can't really remember any mobs that really needed to get pushed off ledges on the way to the boss…
I usually hate it when the CW in the party pushes all the adds off edges. Sure if you've got everything you'll ever need on your character then you can afford not looting all the rank 3 and 4 runestones and enchantments that drop but for me who is still gearing up those drops, that I mainly get from what others consider as…
First time I did Lair of the Pirate King epic I was just barely over the minimum GS for it with 15ish points or so. I straight up told the party that it was my first run of that dungeon and that I would do my best to be of use, at the start no one said anything but after the first 2 encounters the other TR in the group…
A team vote option sounds nice but from personal experience in dungeons i've seen that whenever a pop-up appears (nearly) everyone instantly hits shift+1 and if that doesn't do anything shift+2, regardless of what kind of item it is. So depending on how the vote kick option would work it could either be very good or it…
