On my fed main (eng) it is annoying. With my romulan alt, it's a little more moot. My alt is a tac heavy powerhouse. Hard to get viral impulse spam if everything dead.
I'd like to have the disco Connie from the r&d pack. The legendary ships are nice if you don't already own fleet T6 versions of most of these or have the R&D/lock box/lobi versions.
Fear not. At some point when the bundle sales drop the ships will be made available individually without the accompanying consoles, just the ships and traits for 20-30% higher than regular c-store ships. Accompanied by a Zen sale.
I want to play as a Talosian... or a giant green space hand. The spoon heads don't excite me. I do like their justice system though. We should adopt it here on earth.
The KT torpedo's are great. I've found the phasers to be under-whelming. I upgraded them to MkXIV rare and still meh. I plan to replace mine with more TOS-style phasers once my fleet get's K-13 up and going. I currently have a KT Connie with four MkXIV ultra rare TOS-phasers, two KT phasers and two KT photons. The photons…
It's got to be the one of the powerful ships in game. I think it's OP. It's stats should have gone to Assault Cruiser. I'm not bashing it, I'm very happy for anyone who gets it. I'm happy with my 10.00 Kelvin Connie. It's just my opinion that this ship has the raw stats to go toe to toe with the Scimitar/Avenger etc.…
He is over idolized but that because he's Captain Kirk, not William Shatner. Note now for the record that I respect your opinion and will agree to disagree. Captain Kirk went around the galaxy beaming down to plants, attacking the natives, bedding their women and destroying their gods, patting himself on the back for a job…
I would rather make love to a chain saw than captain that thing... I'm not into it at all. I hope it gets good stats for those who would like to fly it though.
I'm happy to have an end game Constitution class in any form. I would prefer the classic 1960's version however I'm a firm believer that if you can't have the one you want, love the one you have.
As a home owner will bills and a baby on the way etc, I would much rather have had the Kelvin Connie in the C-store. That said I used the sale and spent part of my monthly personal expense on lock box keys to try. This is all I will spend on gambling. My job is very stressful, between that and my home\side work I work…
USS Columbia NX-900102 USS Challeger NX-900099 USS Discovery NCC-900103 USS Atlantis NX-900104 USS Endevour NCC-900105 I also names a ship after the the tanker that took out one side of the original Sky way bridge in Tampa Florida and the registry after the year. USS Summit Venture NCC-1980
"That's how a constitution class looks like" needs some help. Try "This is what the Constitution class looks like." Presentation is everything. I've been a trek fan most of my life and I don't happen to worry over much about the quality of any of the models in game. I'll take quality content over shiny new models any time.
I don't sub. I've spent considerable money in the C store. I won't buy a lifetime sub because there's simply not enough value there. The only real perk is the 500 zen stipend a month. I think that people who commit to a life time sub should have access to a handful of useful things that nobody else does. The first thing…
I wish they would leave it exactly the way it is right now. I've run it twice with two different ships and had a blast. I'm planning to run the Elite with my fleet galaxy later tonight. I like that it's more challenging. There's hasn't been a lot of that lately. The Borg are a joke, the Undine aren't terribly challenging…
I tend to agree. I'm a level 50 player that has completed all reps etc. and I have relatively low DPS. I'm an engineer that has spec mostly into engineering and science skills. You have to spec your player and your ship to your specific play style. I prefer to tank and out smart my enemy instead of pounding them into…
It's likely that the "gap" between tier 6 and tier 5.5 ships wont be that great. The special powers are likely to be as gimmicky and useless as most of the consoles that come with c-store ships and once the new tier 6 ships have beaten with the nerf bat it won't much matter anyway. It's also likely that we'll all get a…
Why do humans put the work 'period' at the end of a statement? ex. "My opinion is the only one that matters. Period." I doesn't seem to have the intended affect. It's also a statement of very poor grammar. In response to the original posters actual question. The only way to get decent gear is to grind. The method of grind…
Pick an energy weapon type and stick to it. In this case I would use plasma weapons simply because you can get fleet + plasma science consoles, which will help overall damage output. You also really need to figure out what your trying to do with this ship so you can build around that.
I should think that the answer to this question is obvious to the devs. They simply can't or won't cough up the answer. There has been in excess of 10,000 posts about a tactically oriented Galaxy class cruiser. Cryptic\PWE-If you want to sell lifetime subs you will release a galaxy retrofit with the same console\bridge…
