I think you're missing a mechanic in your idea that kidney-punches you and takes your wallet every time you're promoted.

I know we'll never see it but I would love to see the various ship parts scaled and sized for use across all the other ships. Certainly doing this to the nacelle, pylon, and saucer styles would make ships a lot more personalized.

The real question I'd like to see directly answered by Dan is this; If the amount of Dilithium you can refine is capped at 8,000 why are you squandering so much time pissing and TRIBBLE with the raw sources? It makes me feel like we're just being ****ed with.

I expect nothing at all from Cryptic or PWE anymore. In my opinion they've devalued themselves to their customers so much that even the thought of expecting something from them makes me roll my eyes a bit.

I didn't start playing Star Trek hoping that I'd end up surrounded by shrieking 13 year old kids jumping each other around every corner and spewing nonsensical obscenities when they're losing. Please go to EVE or WoW.

I'm ignoring it. They're looking for ways to **** players and they'll find them no matter how much of our time and energy is sacrificed to them.

Why is so much effort going into figuring this out? A good game should be a fun, relaxing or otherwise satisfying experience. Cryptic/PWE has turned on their players in such a way that it's become some sort of research project to try to avoid getting ****ed by them.

The reason that the Chimera is better than other ships is the it kind of has a look that feels very TOS inspired, imo.

I think that only two stations (Commander and Lt. Commander) stations should be set according to ship type.

With replicator technology being used for such petty things as making tea and technology in the future being WAY better than it is now it makes zero sense for guns and ammo to be wildly expensive, overheating, stalling junk.

We can't have kinetic ranged weaponry be readily available in large quantities. It just doesn't make sense for something that's absurdly easy to make with Star Trek level technologies such as a replicator to be available to people.
