Ship Skins: Increasing Customisation Options

After looking in the Z-Store at the ship section and noticing that we can purchase additional skins for our ships, I was disappointed to see these all disappeared at some stage (Season 6?) and that we're left only with the option to purchase the NX registry.

I then went looking and noticed that all the old skins are now used to enhance Fleet variants of ships.

This leaves an empty category in the Z-Store.

I wondered about the possibility of Cryptic expanding the ship skins once more, by taking ship skins designed by the Community. I know that the Odyssey was designed in a Competition and thought this might be a similar way in which the Community can become engaged without actually having to design a whole new ship.

Consider monthly contests to design a new skin for an existing ship. This would have the added benefit of increasing the customisation options for the KDF side which is particularly lacking compared to the Federation ships.

    I know we'll never see it but I would love to see the various ship parts scaled and sized for use across all the other ships. Certainly doing this to the nacelle, pylon, and saucer styles would make ships a lot more personalized.

    I WISH!!! I have often thought about this and thought it would be great. After all they kinda do this already with new character creations.... Why not ship creations. Id turn my temporal destroyer into something more traditional trek looking...
