  • The game looks like Star Trek: Stellaris. It is by the same publisher as Stellaris which likely explains the style.
  • Enjoyed Saints Row 3 and 4 and stayed far away from the Reboot because I didn't like any of the main characters. The original Saints Row characters were iconic.
  • You can play as a Ghoul in Fallout Tactics and a bunch of other non-human races. Although, Fallout Tactics is similar to X-COM where you play as a squad rather than as a single character. It looks like Bethesda is going back to the silent protagonist with Starfield. We will have to see if that is the case for Elder Scrolls…
  • We need the Protostar available through a Lock Box, Lobi Store, or Promo Ship before it could be part of a Mudd's Bundle. It is possible to make a Prodigy C-Store Bundle with the Protostar, Legendary Dauntless, and Prodigy costumes, and items since there are plenty of C-Store Bundles with these types of items. Also, it…
  • A Discovery 32nd Century Starfleet Bundle containing the Crossfield Science Spearhead Refit from the Far From Home Lock Box and the Courage Command Science Destroyer, Janeway Command Science Vessel, and the Kirk Temporal Heavy Battlecruiser from the Promo Ships.
  • It is amazing how many Fallout 76 players refuse to believe that it is an MMO. Although, it is missing a few features that are standard in most MMOs like an Account Bank, Mail system, Exchange, and Chat system. There is a chat mod, but the most recent update seems to have broken the mod due to encryption. Having meaningful…
  • The issue is finding out which server to play on since each server is different. Private servers allow for interesting builds that are not possible in other servers like Masterminds with every single pet. As far as having a Delta Recruit for every faction, it is only the Episode Arc goals that provide 100 to 500 Fleet…
  • Not sure if I should be happy about it or not. Lots of Star Trek fans will have to rely on other services to get a collectible ship while it is one less temptation for me to worry about. My wallet is currently excited by this news while my inner Star Trek fan is devastated. Currently have TMP Enterprise and DS9 Runabout…
  • It wouldn't be difficult to make Captain's Table useful. Just add a Transwarp to Captain's Table without a cooldown, have the ability to return to the same location like Fleet Holdings, and have every single amenity available with easy access to each instead of a ton of running around. Getting a visual overhaul of…
  • Haven't watched it, but apparently it is darker than the original. Instead of being a comedy with a few really impactful moments like Will and his dad, it is the opposite with lots of drama and little comedy.
  • Or you can classify them as belonging to their own parallel universes to make each galactic barrier theory viable, but just not in the Prime Universe. Star Trek Online could come up with its own explanation about the galactic barrier or just ignore it and introduce an Andromeda expansion since we already have Iconian…
  • There is the novel explanation from the Q Continuum novels where the Q Continuum created the galactic barrier to protect the Milky Way Galaxy from a hostile near-omnipotent entity. It is an interesting read like why the Calamarains from the Deja Q episode hate Q, why the T'Kon Empire was destroyed, and why Q interacts with…
  • Not sure which version of the Borg origin is worse, this or the novel version where a Starfleet crew is partially responsible for creating the Borg along with the Caeliar and a couple of Humans were the first Borg along with one Caeliar.
  • TOS to Enterprise had plenty of action, but there is only a few seasons in old Star Trek that had the constant crisis like the Dominion War or Xindi War. However, the Dominion War in DS9 seems like it was influenced by Babylon 5.
  • Hopefully, it has more of the optimistic exploration vibe of previous Star Trek series and less of the grim galactic or universe crisis vibe of Discovery and Picard.
  • (Comments related to real life violence removed. - BMR)
  • The Warp Zone's Mario Reacts to NFTs in Video Games has the best explanation about NFTs. Unfortunately, one of the characters talking describes disturbing imagery so I am not willing to post a link to it. Essentially, it is about various companies using NFTs to create artificial scarcity for a virtual item that has…
  • Part of the appeal of Lower Decks is that it goes back to episodic Star Trek instead of having season long galactic crisis story like Discovery and Picard. I was hoping that Season 4 of Discovery would go back to exploration episodic content, but it went right back to the usual galactic crisis. Another part of the appeal…
  • And this is what I am hoping for with Strange New Worlds. Not one long season arc, but episodic content with the odd arc that lasts a few episodes at the most. I was hoping time-jump Discovery would show the various alien races like the Borg, Voth, Klingons, and Dominion or at least what happened to them, but Discovery…
  • So we have one more episode tomorrow of Prodigy before it goes on hiatus. Discovery returns next week and ends in the middle of March while Picard starts early March and ends on the same day as the series premiere for Strange New Worlds. So we have 3 weeks of Discovery and Picard and 1 week of Picard and Strange New Worlds.
  • Champion Online's character customization is one of the few benefits that it has over STO and almost every other MMO. Although, STO's alien customization comes close.
  • And Strange New Worlds and maybe Section 31 is one of the reason why we won't have DISCO Romulans. DISCO Klingons are a possibility, but we already have all of the DISCO Klingon ships which seems to be the main reason for Cryptic to create a new playable faction.
  • Actually, the most useful part of the Seven of Nine set is being able to make your bridge officers and Captain into Liberated Borg with the implants. I have no idea if the implants were fixed so that they work on male characters.
  • Just look at how behind the 32nd Century is in Android technology. There is also the issue that we have never seen a single android in the 32nd Century until Gray Tal. They had to use 24th Century technology created by Soong to create a body for Gray Tal which is not used anymore due to its low success rate. However, both…
  • A lack of transwarp corridors is the least of the problems with the Burn. It is the 32nd Century and they previously had technology capable of travelling hundreds of years in the past and yet they still haven't found anything better than the warp drive that is heavily reliant on dilithium? It is just like travelling to the…
  • And a very lousy and invalid plot point. It only explains why pre-Burn transwarp conduits are not used, but it doesn't explain why post-Burn transwarp conduits aren't created. Limiting post-Burn transwarp conduits to certain personnel would make sense why they aren't used.
  • Which is why I don't buy the transwarp hub being clogged issue. The Federation in the early 25th Century created a few transwarp conduits. So it makes no sense why the 29th Century couldn't create a bunch of transwarp conduits. If transwarp conduits exists, then it doesn't make sense to rely on dilithium and warp drives…
  • While the Romulan Empire has Dilithium mining operations at Remus, there is no evidence that Romulan Singularity Drives use Dilithium. However it is more likely that due to Romulans becoming a bunch of refugees after the Hobus Supernova, they lost the ability to create Singularity Drives. Especially, if the Romulan…
  • The devastation to the empire depends on how centralized the government was and how much warning there was. So all the politicians and other elites would be able to leave safely from Romulus, but all the infrastructure on Romulus used for running the empire would have to be left behind. So losing Romulus would be far more…
  • Caracals are definitely a reference to STO. While there are Caracals on Earth as felines in Africa, Central Asia, Middle East, and India and might still exist in the 31st Century, I seriously doubt Ruon Tarka was talking about a feline from Earth. Especially, when he is a Risan. Memory Alpha just created their Caracal page…
