The OP specified leveling so, there's that. Also, sounds like OP is referring to speeding up leveling from 50-60 to avoid the "brick wall" level 50 characters hit due to the limited story missions there. As for leveling, as you say most of the slowdown comes when you go 50-60. So when leveling an alt, you might want to pop…
People who rage like that make me lol. How do they even know he used thalaron pulse on purpose? I have done "Oh TRIBBLE! Wrong weapon!" Plenty of times.
I have known Olivia to be nothing but helpful and friendly. As for her detractors here...well I think most people have their own opinions. ;) As for the topic at hand, I hope something can be done to resolve it.
I think so. Eventually, I think things will be tweaked to our favor. STFs rewards and difficulty will be looked at and perhaps more XP will be rewarded for DR story missions. There may be a lot of blood, sweat, and tears first though.
My point is, the name Geko in and of itself is not the issue (Geko in this case being the characters name, not the @handle which might be more of a no-no and would be rejected). What the player says with the name is probably more on target to what the problem is. Your name being a perfect example. You probably don't go…
That says he got banned and has to change his character name from "Geko". It does not say why he was banned nor does it say he was banned for having that character name. And I agree, there are plenty of other things done wrong on here right now to rage about, this not being one of them. Just another example of what I call…
Pretty sure I've seeb plenty of gekos, Tacos, Stahls, etc. as character names. I don't think those in and of themselves violate the EULA. Imagine how many people who play and never visit the forums are completely ignorant of Dev handles? The catch is what the player says in chat, etc. while using those names (ex. "I'm Geko…
Cryptic never said DR pack would be going to C store on the release date. In your example (if I understand correctly), someone assumed that would be the case and bought 16,000 zen to be ready for it. When that speculatively didn't happen, he purchased DR via credit card for $160 (why he didn't just do that in the first…
I know right? You were in a boxed instance with four sides that will allow you to warp back to the adjoining sector map. If you "get lost" or "confused" just keep flying straight ahead until you hit the edge of the map. You could even hit the "Warp to Sector Space" button if you were really lost. Anyone who was that lost…
The Romulan and KDF get the coolest looking ones though. Feds get three "meh"s, one nice, and one okay, so it all evens out imo. Feds also have the most canonical source material to model from, which given this explains why I think three of the new ships are "meh".
It would be nice to see, but I think they should work on actual mission maps first. What you describe would take a lot of time for something that has never been prominently featured and what will probably add up to something people visit and ogle over for a week and then never go to again. I would rather see some more work…
He will typically unstuck himself after a minute or two, usually by transforming again. I've never seen the disco ball there, but have usually seen him stuck when someone uses a plasma grenade on him, and usually only right after the first transformation, so maybe certain AoEs have that effect?
Not sure why some (but apparently a minority) have so much hate against the Guardian design. To me, it looks like a natural progression from Constitution>Excelsior>Ambassador>Galaxy. I might even throw in the Venture design after Galaxy as I felt that was an upgraded Galaxy. Anyways, I find it way more appealing and more…
Your character is under mind control by the Tal Shiar. I'm sure Captain Picard would also just as easily skip the whole Locutus/Wolf 359 incident if he could too. ;)
That is assuming they plan to replace it with something more awesome anytime soon. Hopefully DR will pan out with some more exploration and less "kill them all and take there stuff." The Vulcan in me says it would've been more logical to wait to remove it until you actually have some content to replace it with.
I get them in probably one out of every five R&D boxes. Also (and I don't like this) the purple mat you have a chance to receive is dependent on which elite PVE mission you complete.
I don't think it's that simple. The shuttle bay was never meant as a room of its own to walk in and is probably not as deep as it looks. If you were to walk past the force field, you may find yourself a giant amongst toy shuttles as they were only meant to be viewed from afar. If they made it navigable, they would probably…
People are going to b**** regardless. People b****ed before f2p. People b**** ed the first time they raised the level cap. If Cryptic decided suddenly to give everyone a free ship from the Z-Store, people would b**** because they already bought it and demand a refund. People will generally use their right to b**** about…
I see Starfleet Intelligence being more akin to the US Defense Intelligence Agency or military intelligence of the various armed service branches. I see Section 31 being closer to the CIA (at least maybe some of it's more "Dark" operations) in that the bulk of their assets are probably not full time "employees" but part…
