i would like to ask for a two day extention for this event as i am going to miss out on completing the event by one day? if you (cryptic) were to extend it to monday the 15th i realise it is more then 2 days that everyone should be happy with the extention.

I've seen extensions before, but it had to due with bugged content and or unexpected downtimes.

Hope for the best but plan for the worst, in which case you'll have the shards to complete the next entity event incredibly early.

It takes two weeks, that's 14 days to complete the project. We were given three weeks, that's 21 days, to complete it. We were given seven additional days to complete it. We will not be getting any more time to do so.

Just get as many as you can. Last time 1 of my toons missed by a day, this time I was able to complete it twice with him.
Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

It's actually less than 14 days, because of the 20 hour cooldown. There's certainly plenty of time if you use it wisely.

Since some people need tp sleep, it's effectively a 24 hour cooldown in my opinion.

It's not like you have to stay up all night to do it at 2AM...

I believe that is the intent. If it was a hard 24-hour cooldown, then you'd end up completing the mission later and later every day until you finally had to miss a day. This way if you're forced to do it at the same time every day, you've got a bit of "wiggle room". And if you are able to actually play close to the cooldown you can "get ahead" a bit at a time.

Slot the Event reputation project to get the duty officer, and contribute the shards that you have. The next time the event runs, you will be able to complete the project and get the reward.

There will probably be a new project for the next run; starting the current project guarantees it will be there for next time.

I feel for you man but if they give an extension, its going to help a group of people who will miss it by a day or two but then the extension will create a whole new group of people who will then miss it by a day or two and ask for an extension. It puts Cryptic in the awkward position of extending the event for some people but not others which is not a position they want to be in.

It's gotten to the point some people demand extensions two seconds after an event launches...
Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
    What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!

And then theres the guy who just needs 3 more days, and then a week, then a month...

You had your shot... Wait for the next one.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Speaking as someone who had to miss a week due to family stuff, got back with barely enough time to finish pushing 11 toons through it, I'm with Anazonda with this one.

Much as an extension would have been helpful (though not as helpful as having the getaway a week later) there's nothing nefarious about how Cryptic have done this.

It's from here to then, at the usual times.

None of us have a right to be able to partake fully of each and every event.

Not if the reason why not is our own scheduling issues.

I started from the first day and my 14 day run ended this past Friday. Although I found out really needed 15 to get the extra bonus. But I did a few Elites ones extra. 20 hrs cool-down FED/ROM/KDF.

I wouldn't get my hopes up on an extension just for your own personal needs tbh.

That ran the doff timers in conjunction with the daily event. If the doff crafting timer finished, 20 hours was up. I finished days ago and due to momentum am doing it for the extra 2000 dill per event. And all the other goodies.

I feel your pain though. One of my main toons is one thing short on mirror event for 50 000 and a boff away. They wont give extension man.

Suck it in , keep it there till the event comes around again.

While we're at it, can we bring back the Risa Summer Event for a few days so I can turn in my birds and monkeys? :D

Look at this way. Next time, you'll only have to get a couple of shards to finish and have enough time to do that year's project as well. You'll get twice as much dilithium in one event.
