Wow So when I run engine hot and my wepons power is low I must get exactly the same attack values as when I run weapons hot right? As for federation ships having more hull, I look at the numbers as well as my ships Icon, I get hit for less. Not I absorb more damage. I Get hit for less.

Guys, Phasers don't just shut off shields occasionally. They reduce incoming damage (Albeit briefly) by reducing weapons power if not occasionally off lining them. May be it different for me, I see more singularity core detonations than I see warp core detonations. Cruiser or escort I will Fly with any Klink or Fed, long before I fly with a rom team mate(If given a choice) Their ships or their captains don't seem to be able to take the heat.
