You clearly haven't been on Tribble since it got stealth patched then (I only learnt of this because I frequent the STO reddit). Go have a look, just don't jump on top of the "turbo"lift, you WILL get stuck.
I jumped on top deliberately to see if I got stuck. I did. However, use of the /stuck command and a bit of patient wiggling for freedom and I eventually got out. While I'm not a fan of invisible walls, I think this is a situation where it's called for.
I just hope their Tutorial (that isn't a Tutorial but is otherwise identical to Tutorials in that it gives you your starting equipment and cannot be replayed (boo, the TOS tutorial in particular is one I would like to replay)) doesn't have anything as broken as the "TOS Tutorial Rifle Bug".
It would be such a time-saver. Rather than obtain every ship, then open the Admiralty panel to ensure you get the cards, then dismiss all the ships, repeat for ages until you have every ship you own as a card.
How peculiar. When last I looked at a vendor it didn't let me get anything, but that was before this patch. I wonder why you didn't get the token, I'm assuming the ship you picked wasn't one you have T5Ued before?
It's not clearly stated in the wording if you get the T5-U token before or after choosing the free ship, I read it and got the implication that you got the token after you chose a ship. I can't recall being able to buy the ship to test this due to the C-Store being all but disabled on Tribble.

It SOUNDS like it's being borked like the RA's are (where if you queue via UI, enemies are all 59 yet player is forced down to 50, having to deal with the considerably higher stat enemies (HP, Shields, Damage, etc) while having their own stats pretty much crucified.
