TRIBBLE MAINTENANCE AND RELEASE NOTES - 6/21/17

General:
  • Summer Event:
    • Resolved an issue that caused the arguing couple, fireworks, and Mok'bara Klingons to only appear for about 20 seconds every 2 hours.
      • They now appear for approximately 20 minutes every 2 hours.
    • Players now sit properly in the beach chairs.
    • The Mark Packages players can earn through the Ornithologist on Risa now list Lukari and Temporal Marks as rewards.
    • Resolved clipping issues with:
      • Male wetsuit
      • Female Rash guards
    • Resolved an issue where changing the color on rash guards would change the color of board shorts at the same time.
  • Resolved an issue that caused Borg Red alerts to only award 1 mark.
  • Resolved an issue where the Pounce Trait was being affected by kit performance.
  • Photonic Fleet can no longer be used in social zones.
  • Resolved an issue where the Risian Luxury Cruiser wings did not display properly in sector space.
  • Resolved an issue where most of the Kar'Fi model would disappear under certain conditions.

Constitution + Miranda Starships Updates:
  • The Starfleet Fleet Advanced Light Cruiser (T6) has a new default costume - the Soyuz class.
    • Captains who purchase the Fleet Advanced Light Cruiser (T6) can use new saucer and strut parts based on the Soyuz-class U.S.S. Bozeman seen in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Cause and Effect".
  • A new, free variant for the Miranda-class saucer has been added.
    • Named "Miranda Beta," this variant is the same as the normal Miranda but with a glowing deflector dish on the bottom as seen on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
  • A new, free material has also been added to the Light Cruiser customization list.
    • Based on the Type 8 material, this "Type 8b" material is a flat gray, based on the look of the Miranda and other ships in later movies and series.
  • The Constitution Refit model has been completely rebuilt from scratch and now uses the same Type 8 material the recently revamped Miranda uses.
    • This is an update to the existing Constitution Refit models, and captains should go to the Ship Tailor and apply the Constitution Refit preset to see all the new details.
  • A new, free variant part for the Miranda-class light cruiser has been added.
    • This new strut, named "Miranda Beta" is styled after Star Trek Online’s original Miranda-class strut and includes a small deflector dish on top of the torpedo pod.
  • New parts are available for both the T1 Constitution class Light Cruiser and Temporal Light Cruiser (T6).
    • These parts are based on the appearance of the Enterprise in the second pilot of Star Trek "Where No Man Has Gone Before" and are named "Constitution Beta."
  • The Reliant and Soyuz Light Cruiser variants have been added to the foundry.

    So Red Alerts give more marks, but there's still no resolution for the level-scaling issue (i.e., players getting scaled down to 50 while the enemies are at 60)?

    ETA: But thank you for the Luxury Cruiser fix; it makes me wanna dig that out and fly it again. :D

    59 in my experience, since they are 9 levels above.

    Also, any chance we could get the lovely Type 8 and Type 8a skins for ALL T6 Fed ships, not just Mirandas and Connies?

    51 + 1 Foundry Character Slots is NOT enough. Some of us love our characters. If I want to buy more character slots, why can't I? I couldn't experience the entire Delta Recruitment event without deleting a character.

    The Iconians themselves can't time travel because their memories revert, but there is nothing to say an Iconian couldn't write everything she needed to do on a PADD, pin it to herself, travel back, read the PADD, do the tasks and return. Or just get one of her Non-Herald underlings to go back in time for her.

    Oh yeah, I do Foundry missions for both KDFs and Feds. Just search KSTF (Short for Kinas Special Task Force, where Kinas is the name of the Admiral you will be serving under). The earlier ones are less story based and more combat based, while the later ones have a much heavier story element, but keep the large battles.

    Nope. Drop rate is much lower.

    Drop rate is relative to number being opened at that time. I have noticed my odds of getting a ship from a luck-box of any sort goes up considerably if loads of people are opening at that time. If nobody's opening them, it's going to take a long time for the next ship to cycle round unless it's near that number already.

    Heck, the promo only is around this time because the Connie got a beautiful new TMP era skin.

    The chances of getting one is so slim, I would say use the Exchange, but they (they referring to all the gold spammers and their bots ensuring that nothing is sold below their prices (I won 2 connies when it first rolled, sold one for 750mil, it was gone in less than 5 seconds because the gold spammer bot bought it)) are too greedy to list them for 1.5bil nowadays.
