reshiram@merescintilla my doffs brisra kimalak stol bevatra s'hek are all bugged put on active duty and dismiss are both grayed out even though my doff is the correct faction and in reserve (I am a romulan): http://imgur.com/H59OszV
there are so many things wrong with this post... i... can't... even.... call it what you want, fed get phaser technology to fight undine, kdf get disruptors to fight undine, that's faction based. i never said rep gear was factional, but unlike with previous reps this one is faction based. romulans don't get plasma gear…
1. the elachi silent enemy set is basically the disruptor version of the experimental romulan plasma set, elite fleet disruptors are better than romulan plasma plus embassy consoles, and that didn't stop the klingons from getting more disruptors 2. the rep equipment is designed to be faction based, but once again romulans…
I agree, the old fleet kits need to be updated with the new passive bonuses and made available as an option for those who don't want to hunt down pieces to make kits.
I've taken a look at the new Hirogen set and come to the unfortunate conclusion that they too suck. The more I think about it, the more I think it's obvious the old thing holding back the lobi weapons is the damage, bump them up to the same level as other purple mk xiis and the procs aren't bad. What gives?
Exactly. I would understand if the lobi weapons were too strong because you're effectively paying real money for them, but as they are they're subpar and not worth the cost. It'd improve the lockbox experience alot if they were actually worth something.
Exactly. It's like if the auxiliary cannons on the Vesta were rare instead of ultra rare, or the Galor's spiral wave disruptors, or the Kumari's andorian phasers. Lobi weapons aren't cheap, at least they should be competitive with rep gear.
So the Voth ships which have never been shown canonically to cloak can now have battle cloak, but the Romulan temporal science vessel, a future ship of a race whose ships are all designed around cloaking, still can't even regular cloak? New ship looks awesome, but is a sad panda for canon :(…
I wouldn't mind a chance to apply a plasma burn to attackers, would fit the Romulan theme. I just noticed the dyson set looks nice with a coherent theme too...
Sure, when Romulans get a security officer on New Romulus, Romulan Omega ground and space sets, a R'mor costume and temporal shuttle added to the Lobi store, Android boffs, what else am I missing here...
Finally got 2 pieces... and not feeling it. Engines are a sidegrade from Jem'Hadar Mk XI even tho they're 1 grade higher, and shields are nothing special (using Romulan set). Reman shields may be better trading regen for capacity, but it's too expensive to try right now :(
Thread in a nutshell: Greedy console crafters trying to keep their monopoly vs greedy large fleet members too cheap to pay fair market value, who will win?
Considering the costs are almost equal across the board and Omega actually being the easiest & most rewarding rep (in terms of other things you get while doing it) to level casually, that's a very disingenuous thing to say unless they're tacitly admitting the other sets suck but they're too lazy to change a few numbers.
So far I only have the shield ... but it does look very nice and the capacity is tops. Even the blue version from Coliseum beats a lot of purple mk xis I think. I still need to get the other pieces to try the bonuses, and of course the deflector is subpar at best just by looking at the stats.
I have Reman, MACO, and Omega shields now and those numbers are not right. Or at least the wiki is using ships with different modifiers so you can't make an informed comparison. On my science ship, Reman is 11.8k, MACO 9.8k, omega is 8.8k, and borg 7.9k, I don't play klingon so I can't test honor guard but since I don't…
But doesn't the shield have massive capacity? And the 3 pc bonus buffs that further? I'm still going to try it but yeah changing the deflector would really help out the set
