Seriously?

1 Commander Eng / 1 Ltd. Com Universal
5 Eng consoles
45k Hull
1.2 Shield modifier
Indistructible Repair ships that fully restore you
and a battle cloak if that's still not enough to survive

And now imagine that ship on an a2b Engineer incl. miracle worker and grace under fire.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!!

EDIT: Before the merge this thread was originally called "OP bulwark ship".

So the Voth ships which have never been shown canonically to cloak can now have battle cloak, but the Romulan temporal science vessel, a future ship of a race whose ships are all designed around cloaking, still can't even regular cloak? New ship looks awesome, but is a sad panda for canon :(

Oh FFS. Cryptic, why do you do this to me? This would have been helpful to know last week, before I bought the Bastion.

    Rrr.

On a more calculating note, I expect the repair ship to be completely pointless for this ship. A well run Bulwark (or Bastion for that matter) simply does not die. What you're really getting here is the base ship performance like the improved turn rate and universal LTC.

A battle cloak sounds passingly interesting, but I don't know if non-Romulan characters can get nearly as much use out of it...?

Addendum to the addendum, these stats really don't make a lot of sense. The universal LTC slot and the ability to mount dual cannons along with the weapon power efficiency cruiser buff says "Tactical boat!", but it shifts a console slot from tactical to engineering and adds an extra 1000 hull points which says "Tank!". Puzzling.

Their small ship (which the Palisade is based on) had an interphase device that made it invisible to Voyager, and the two scientists aboard it had personal interphase devices.

It's not overpowered at all. In order to use battle cloak, the ship must equip three consoles, that effectively turns the ship into a 7 console starship. The hull and shield mod is average for a flight deck cruiser. The Repair ship is simply an after death revive ability.

No thank you. Why would I want to torture myself with the TRIBBLE that is Voyager? But my memory is fine. THE CITY SHIP DOES NOT CLOAK.

How do you know that? You don't. We saw a Voth scout/science ship cloak. The Voth have the capability of cloaking. So, why couldn't the city ship cloak.

"Do we really need another JHAS?" is literally all I could think as I read the first few lines of the new duty officer promotion, with the Voth Dread. I was one of you who assumed it would be an awesome T5 reward for Dyson, and as such had planned to buy Fleet modules to buy EC to buy the other ships in the set.

Now though, with the introduction of the reward as they introduced the JHAS, I can't really bring myself to buy a pack, and feel rather sick to my stomach, because I know even if I get a ship, I can't hold on to it. I have to wait, like people with the JHAS waited, and sell it on the exchange, thus removing my chance to have a fun ship.

And if anyone from Cryptic reads this, I am sorry for the rant, I know it must be hard to design a F2P game, and I honestly appreciate all the hard work you do on it. It just throws a big monkey wrench into my well paved (Purchasing) plans

So how much cost that package and is this a gambling package or you get the ship for sure?

Maybe it had a cloak that was very advanced (like some kind of temporal cloak that slightly shifts you out of your timeframe) so the Tholians removed it.

We have at least 5 ships now (I think?) that took and improved the single redeeming traits the Explorer variants had :D

Wow and there are only 3 of them! That's quite a lot of coin. I saw a guy parked in orbit of DS9 - and yes the ship is monstrous in size. It could always be bigger though!!

Comparable to the other duty officer pack bonus ship, the JHAS, though... with the standard New Shiny Premium tacked on top, of course.

I agree this ship is overkill, I mean, it has more turn rate than the Voth Flight-Deck, better inertia, better hull, more crew... it makes a 1 month ship obsolete (not to mention the rest of cruiser-carriers, those are even worse) LOL!

With an availability of about 2 weeks and only from a doff pack, this thing is going to be probably the rarest ship in the game (short of maybe the playable freighter). Even if not quite as powerful as the JHAS, that rarity will likely mean a similar price.

Any time they come out with vary rare new ships like this the price is astronomical at first, they dip and spike for a week or two, then they even out at a high but understandable rate

Okay, it is time to just dock our ships and start fighting with rocks and sticks. Pace yourself Cryptic, you don't need to run P2W sell-athon every few weeks.

Well it seems that this large - 'interesting' shaped ship is demanding $400 million now

A large payout if you are lucky on the doff pack lottery.

I do support doff pack lottery far more that lock-box - you can't go wrong with good quality doffs.
