Just logged on for the first time in about two years. Saw that the Foundry is dry as a martini (at least for me). Assuming that they're still putting things back together post-AoD push as is usual after a big publish?
This was a top-notch adventure! A nice balancing of challenging combat in the right places to serve plot development (not for the sake of pew-pew) with nice mystery with tense atmosphere. My only ?? is why the inclusion of Helna was important to the story. I saw it as a bookending and really couldn't see a necessary link…
Like "Eons" before it (although not necessarily a sequel) this is a super-cerebral story that will overwhelm you with its vastness of detail. Superbly crafted, but not for those who need to be spoon-fed the plot (and I admit, when I'm playing at 11pm after wrestling a overtired toddler to bed sometimes that's what I need).…
Very cool, especially #3. With the exception of Quark and Nog, I really kinda detest the Ferengi, but I'm always up for exploring a world I've never seen. I don't care much for Betazoids either, but Betazed was fleshed out in "Shore Leave Under Fire" and the environment was brilliantly done.
Okay yeah.....I get it, without actually getting it. The 2001 analogy actually helps, if that makes any sense. LOL!! Good to know. I'll take another crack at Entropy then. It's gonna be awhile until I get to the IW. I like to do things chronologically whenever possible. I'm still only halfway thru the Delta Quadtrant…
A couple of things.... - "Eons" was rich and grand in scope, but the problem I had (and it pains me to say this as I prefer noodle-stirring content over pew-pew-pew) is that the story was far too 'cerebral' for me. I think I got the gist of the story, but man did my little peanut brain have issues understanding the plot…
Just bought the TOS bundle too along with a Connie about three weeks ago. Gonna be busy this summer! :D And holy TRIBBLE......half the cast of STC has been brought in! That's Vic doing the trailer VO!
Hit lev 10 a long time ago. Just doing it now for the Dil (because one day the exchange will drop below effin 304 again. Sheesh!), the occasional EC payout, 1x cards, and spec points for uberbuffing my toon (which is cool for me as I love hearing Spock congratulate me once a week)
All your missions pretty much rock, but the one below sticks out to me as a classic. * Shore Leave Under Siege It's been about a year so the name of the femme fatale escapes me for the moment. I gotta ask, any plans to use her again in a future project? Very cool character.
Fiat Lux: DONE! SPOILERS AHEAD! One can tell in the first few minutes that this one is gonna be epic. Events moved a bit quickly and the writing seemed to usher me along into a story that felt like it was moving faster than I could keep up with, but later dialogue filled in any blanks I had, particularly when it came to…
