PvP has turned into a "One Headshot Kills" let's see who can fire first style of extremely boring boringness. It wasn't this bad before the perfect storm of Upgraded Gear & Intel Ships hit. Those PvP arena queues used to launch in 30 seconds or less.
I vote against a roll-back. There have been some great ideas. Wait, can we roll back to the launch day of DR? That first week or so was awesome. I've got tons of those Mk XII VR Acc x3 phaser beam arrays.
They'd need to work on the AI first, something that they've been seriously inept at so far. Do you really want to see your favourite ship blown up because it can't fight a borg sphere on its own? Are you looking forward to killing an enemy and then seeing one of your ships charge headlong into the warp core breach and…
I'll just keep Intel as Primary, Pilot as Secondary, the same as now. As a side note, you don't HAVE to buy every new ship that comes out. A few of the posters in this thread seem to think that they need to. The introduction of Pilot spec ships does not automatically mean you have to fork out 3500 zen (or whatever the next…
If they remove it, the people who can go there but never use it will complain that it's been removed. That's what you get when you let people who paid some money into the game years ago and nothing else since then think they're somehow owed something.
It's not the fact that people spend thousands of dollars that bothers me. It's the fact that they don't do any better than I do after all that spending that concerns me the most.
All the comments like "I'm paying for everyone else to play. This game wouldn't be here if I didn't spend $120 on keys" are silly. This game is run by a huge multi-national corporation. Get a grip of yourselves. Your ship purchase has not made the difference between this game living or dying.
Nobody knows any more about it than you do. Just assume yes until Cryptic says "We have cancelled this year's Summer Event. This is to make playing at all other times of the year equally valuable" or some other bullcrap.
A lot of people have said "If they introduce X into the game I'll quit" but they're still here. I don't think Cryptic cares about an "I'll quit" threat from a player or there's a lot of changes that wouldn't have already happened. Anyway, forget Kickstarter. As I've said before, this is a commercial game. It's not a…
If you guys are that desperate to get rid of your cash, why not give it all to Chris Roberts? He'll take your money while extending pre-Alpha for Star Citizen until 2194, and you'll all thank him for it.
Sorry folks, the Borg don't cut through my ship like butter. You may want to think about using Hazard Emitters, Science Team and Emergency Power To Shields. Adapt your play style. Rise to the challenge.
I have about 50,000 Omega marks. I assume he built up such a huge pile the exact same way I did - months of playing Borg STFs. I wasn't hoarding my marks for turn-in events. Frankly I wouldn't bother doing those 50 mark turn-ins even if they paid out triple what they do now.
