I completed "Brothers of Man". I hope that "In the Shadows of Avalon" reveals who the Fair Folk are, I have a suspicion. My own missions were about the origins of an alien species, so I need to see how you did it. Also, I need to see if you are working off the mythology I think you are.
I completed my two-part adventure just before the sunset announcement and i was really happy with what i thought was a good story. The first is a year old but recently improved with new NPCs. The second part is all new and still under the review tab. I had other installments in mind, but they are not going to see the light…
I will play yours as soon as I can. I share your frustration. I have two projects completed, one being written, and one is still just an idea in my head. And now, this news. This is a sad day.
I don't know if this helps, but, the game crashed on me when I attempted to change maps from DS9 Space to DS9 Ground. Now it crashes every time I attempt to load this one toon currently stuck between maps like he is caught in a pattern buffer. My other toons are working fine.
Due to the foundry being down after the spring 2018 update, I could not fix the broken part of this mission when it was first reported to me (map transition when you get close enough to the comet). It's fixed now. I also edited dialog/spelling and re-positioned some ground objectives ( I was told that people were having…
This sounds like the confusion that I'm having. When I hit the "Play From Beginning Of Story" button, going through my first "door" just sends me back to sector space where I started from.
I played for three years before I tried this fleet thing. When I get a "ninja" recruiting message I usually look up the fleet and read their recruiting message. Those messages tell you what the members are into. You don't have to be in a fleet to enjoy the game, so you can just sit and wait for one that's your style to…
I've been giving my crew polyweave armor for the high physical and kinetic resistence and giving them the best shields I come across in mission rewards to handle the energy. But that's just the way I'm rolling. Other people might have better ideas.
My ship history: U.S.S. Dragonfly, Miranda class....A small and fast hunter. U.S.S. Skyborn, Exeter class....I just thought it souded cool then I got into a pattern of naming my ships after greek dieties U.S.S. Artemis, Cheyenne variant heavy cruiser....Huntress, goddess of the moon U.S.S. Callisto, Intrepid Class U.S.S.…
Today I used the stardate to real date converter plus the "Path to 2409" found here: sto.gamepedia.com/Accolade/Lore to adjust my character's history (which I posted earlier) to dates and events in found in the official game backstory. So, now, my character was managing a short range research ship funded by the Daystrom…
I guess they just want it to be the same year for everyone flying around in game. I don't really care. I'm just playing as if a reasonable time has passed between the start of the Klingon War and the point in the story where I am now. If it's 2412 for me and it's 2419 for you, and we run ito each other in a social zone,…
forget what I wrote before, I was just inspired by this thread to create a better backstory. Dr. Ian "Salty" St.Claire (Human) was born in 2370 on Terra Nova. In 2390, at age 20, he moved to Earth to attend one of that planet's oldest universities. He was a brilliant student. By 2396, he had his PhD in astrophysics and was…
I treated the tutorial as part of my character's story early on. Now, I just imagine it as a kind of final command test before they let you have your own ship.
Dr. Ian "Salty" St.Claire is an astrophysisist who ran civilian research vessels for years before he ever thought about joining Starfleet. At a science conference in 2401 he found himself trading stories and drinking coffee...lots of coffee...with the great Admiral Janeway. Soon after, he yearned to explore unknown space,…
