I agree, it's a shame too, I was hoping they would pickup the new Trek show after Voyager got home, but yet again we have to revisit the past, and play this fill in the blanks, while tossing out cannon. Just you wait and see, I can feel it going to happen.

I am just glad Sony asked for help to get Spiderman right, the cost is crossing him over into the MU, but that's a good thing. Now if we could get the Fantastic 4 and the X-Men into the MU, it will be a win win on many levels.
True, but I figure they did a more replace the actors, and have him still in high school type of move, vs doing an origin story again. Here he is already spiderman, and not just a kid that got the powers from a spider. We seen that already, so figured it as a retooling more than reboot.
I figured if this is done, it would be side stories not part of the prime universe, like a universe all to it's own, and whatever happens within the Marvel vs DC comic would just be the fallout within that world. We will see, I have seen a few shows that pushed the limits on the streaming, stuff I will not let my kids watch. The Marco Polo series comes to mind, they show questionable nudity on there, and Spartacus need I say more about that one?
