Well it's not a 100% reboot, more like a retooling. But hey it's with in the Marvel Universe Disney, so it might be good.
Yes it is a reboot. The continuities created in the Amazing Spider-Man films or the Spider-Man trilogy or even the Amazing Spider-Man TV show with Nick Hammond are no longer live.
IF you mean from Spider-Man's appearance in CA:CW then it's not a retooling of any kind, it's a sequel.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

True, but I figure they did a more replace the actors, and have him still in high school type of move, vs doing an origin story again. Here he is already spiderman, and not just a kid that got the powers from a spider. We seen that already, so figured it as a retooling more than reboot.

People said that about The Incredible Hulk. Spider-Man is saturated in popular culture, he dosn't need his origen covered by anything more than dialogue or a flashback. If only Snyder had have thought about that and he'd have had more time in BvS to work on adding a little whatsit...
...plot, that's it, plot.

I am just glad Sony asked for help to get Spiderman right, the cost is crossing him over into the MU, but that's a good thing. Now if we could get the Fantastic 4 and the X-Men into the MU, it will be a win win on many levels.

Fantastic Four yes. X-Man no. They already have a popular and ongoing continuity and wouldn't add anything to the MCU that the Inhumans don't already have. You want special flashy powers then the MCU has Inhumans, you want an outsiders tale of prejudice that the X-Man are known for? Well you wouldn't get it in the MCU. Other than groups like the Watchdogs there's no level of hatred for powered people on the sorts of levels the X-Man rely upon. He'll, the Hulk wasn't even punished for Johannesburg and there's still toys and masks of him for sale after the event.

His friend drops something at the bed that smashes all over the floor when he realizes Peter is Spiderman.
Ok I missed that part, have to go back and freeze frame it.
