Now I've had the vfx stay on me forever before, that's nothing new. But recently, what I've been seeing is the actual tractor beam effects are staying with me well past their listed 5km range. I had a new record last week, where tractor beam mines dropped by Romulan ships were tractoring me and doing damage from twenty-six…
> I am trying to keep the ship in its canon setup - i.e. with the weapon loadout it comes with - But I note that the build I got given when I purchased the ship was 2x Dual Plasma Cannon, Plasma Beam Array, Plasma Torpedo Launcher (Fore) and 2xPlasma Torpedo Launcher, Plasma Beam Array (Rear) which is a rather odd layout,…
There's also liberal use of Emergency Power to Engines, especially in tandem with the doff that recharges Evasive Maneuvers when EPtE is used. (I don't often use EPTE, I'm more of an EPTW/EPTS man, but if you need hot nasty speed like Eleanor Roosevelt was talking about, EPTE can help.)

Can these be reclaimed if one…
The weapons in the Rep Stores should also benefit from the Discount, not just Rep Project weapons. These weapons are usually niche as heck in their application; don't penalize them twice by also making them ludicrously overpriced.
Dear AmbassadorKael/Any other Red Names, As much as I'm enjoying the Tales of K-13 series, could you alert the folks writing this that they are consistently getting the dates wrong? If they're from the 23rd century, the station didn't disappear in 2370, as that is the 24th century. Apart from that, I'm loving this series.…
"Alternative, maybe a reward is missing? Don't these missions usually reward crafting mats?" My recollection is they only reward some materials on crits (I want to say blue-level), not regular successes.
If anything, it's just new to Deferi Sector. Assuming it's the one I'm thinking of; 20h run time, wants three guys, at least one Research Lab Scientist, right? I know Fed chars have always been able to get that flavor of assignment by going over to the sectors surrounding Q'onos, and getting it from their Science…
I think the one problem with this set is that the energy weapon is locked into a beam array. This set really wants a cannon option, IMO (any Devs that read this, please?). I honestly don't know if this set's console is worth losing an embassy plasma console. I doubt it, based on how aggressively the damage of those…
No one is "forced" into anything. If your build works with AP weapons, it will work with Disruptors, just with slightly-smaller-but-still-plenty-to-get-the-job-done numbers.
If memory serves, to count as "Exotic damage", a particular source of damage must not come from firing a weapon. Hence, this is just "Radiation damage ", buffable only by things that specify such. Contrast with, say Aceton Beam, which doesn't come from a fired weapon, and is therefore Exotic.
Gah, my bad. You were talking about the ships from the New Dawn giveaway. In my brain that got mangled into you talking about the Dreadnaught pack. Sorry, man!
They've all got hanger pets, the Klingon and Romulan ships had a bug on their hanger bays which was preventing them from recharging at the proper rates. That got fixed with the new Season release on Tuesday.
As I was loading ships into the Admiralty system yesterday, I noticed my Kar'Fi had some odd display issues. Bases on your description, they might be the same thing.
"Still" there? If they're there, great, but to my recollection the R&D material assignments never used to show under department head listings in the first place. I'll take a look tonight.
Okay, I'll admit. After the R&D update last year, I didn't know if the doff assignments still consistently tracked to a given material (what can I say, I'm a little scatterbrained sometimes). Thank you for explicitly spelling that out. Very helpful.
Heck, get rid of the Cargo Bay button instead. Kahless knows there's better ways of getting to your inventory. If screen resolution is really an issue, just tell the folks who're playing at their aunt's house on her old PC that 640*480 won't cut it anymore. ;) Generator
Okay, that helps some, but I still have to click on that tab to see that, where before the numbers were visible directly on the tab itself. It just seems baffling to change it that way in the first place, though. Thanks for both elements of your response. :-)
One related change that came out of the new system/UI: Along the left edge, there used to be separate buttons for the Brig and Passengers (Colonists). These got combined into a single button. *Please,* undo that. Previous layout allowed at-a-glance look at how many of each I had. Now what, I'm supposed to go in and count…
I really dislike Maintenance as currently construed. Just can't make my brain accept "Your 30m assignment, win lose or draw, is knocking these ships out of the rotation for a day and a half" as something I should be down with.
