During a heated battle, Captain orders you to spacewalk to the enemy Klingon ship and plant a tribble in their hold. Ensuing Warp Core Breach vaporizes you. Remarkably, Tribble survives, because no red shirt. Affected by the raw radiation, it grows to planet-sized proportions and becomes the newest threat to the Federation…
The Opt-In was in no way evident in the OP. It was 'hinted at', upon second reading, and I did not take the time to wade through the responses - the intent seemed clear, that opposite faction sectors would be pvp, that people who 'weren't careful' did not deserve to be there. (pucker factor is missing, people feel too safe…
to the OP: Let's just say YOU do not get to decide how I play MY game. There are places where you can get your jollies ganking people. Too bad for you I stay out of those areas. If you want to be challenged by others, you can go there all the time. If you want to beat others that do not meet your 'amazing' standards of…
It's 100% OK to put in a request for absolutely anything. I'll put in my request for peace and goodwill for Earth, and a snazzy new Tesla for me. If I have to choose between the two, I think we all know what's the right thing to do - I'll take it in cherry red.
Note: some of the special components from this 1000 Dil mission are worth far more than the 1000 dil it costs. I've run about 12 of these so far on alts, and I've gotten several purple materials, and 4 or 5 purple components that cost 4k Dil to make... so I think it's worth it.
[I don't understand which part of your post is serious - are you pro-confirm or anti-confirm? My understanding is that you're anti-confirm.] So add it as an opt-in in the Options menu then. Spending 17500 Dil on a stray click is happening, veterans and noobs do it equally easily. Confirming a "You sold this on Exchange"…
I want to reiterate one of my listed ideas from my previous post: PLEASE have actual non-Cryptic staff PLAYERS test the pants off of this stuff. Call it 'Extra-Closed Beta,' call it 'Super Secret Double Confidential Wham-a-lam-a-ding-dong Beta Tester-motron,' whatever just let 10 or 20 or 50 **good**, motivated,…
In the spirit of "not changing the entire nature of space combat as it is, but tweaking it to work better in its current state " I'll offer my somewhat ill-informed, semi-casual player, amateur thoughts. Since I don't know all the nitty-gritty details about all the powers, and I like to mostly 'fly' the ship rather than…
Was very disappointed at the terrible drop rates on purple materials. Will continue to do the 6000/day research projects, until my 8 characters have cross-pollinated multiple schools and can craft lots of stuff concurrently. Will probably run the 1000 dil craft support missions pretty often, as those seem to drop an…
(These are the same missions I'm referring to - the last mission in the chain is always "Support [Rolor Nebula] Colonization Efforts", which upon a crit, provide a purple Doff, different in each cluster, but same each time for each individual cluster.)
Agreed, but with large amounts of dil to convert after the Dil weekend on multiple characters, this can be time consuming... The Confirmation on dil conversion seems ludicrously obvious. Cryptic, please address this as a red-letter fix. You are costing your players money.
Here's how I think ship prices will drop: (FWIW, pedantry for some follows) Ship X is 520m. It's really, really good, and the seller spent EC and/or Dil on keys to get it, and he thinks it's worth that much, and he's gonna profit. Nothing wrong with that. Too expensive for most players. They just can't buy it (not enough…
100% agree, and in particular, thank you for editing all the 'downtime' of loads/map changes/ship changes/ etc. and giving us a 100% 'clean' look at what you're actually showing us! I'm always looking for your vids on the Tube, and I look forward to a review of that new Xindi carrier! (hinthint)
I'd be willing to sacrifice a little if, once in a while, my grav well sucked in, for example, 4 groups in a Fleet Defense, or a HUGE furball on a SB24. I know it's supremely unlikely, but if you're saying there's a chance... ;) It would all be worth it.
I think I agree with pulserazor 100%, no sarcasm. 'Elite' players will minmax and 'play to WINWINWIN'. Actual players will enjoy the game, and not get butthurt when another player wins in pvp, or beats their 'awesome' deeps. It's a game. Have fun. If you define yourself by reducing another player's fun, the problem might…
How is the idea that promoting and advertising a significant event to the people who play the game controversial? How is the idea that doing so in the most convenient 'forum' would help both the players and the people who profit from the game not obvious? How is it that promoting an event that integrally supports a VERY…
