The queue might be fun for the first few goes, but after a couple of weeks (let alone 50 to 60 days)... Burnout sounds like it would be an understatement at this point.
What can I say that hasn't already been said. For me The Foundry was unique in that it gave many of us a creative outlet as well as a way to present our stories as part of a wider universe. Now that it is gone, there is nothing that really separates this game from the other games out there except that it has the Star Trek…
Star Trek Online, it was fun while it lasted. The Foundry was my go-to for story content when the usual grind got stale (which was often). Now I have even less motivation to log on. Perhaps it's time to call it a day. If-for any reason you change your mind-give me a holler.
If there's still space available, I'd like to submit two. I'll provide sliders if you're interested. Captain Dennis Xavier Human Male And his Chief of Operations/Wife Lt. Cmdr. Jennifer Xavier Human Female The standard Odyssey Dress Uniforms are fine, unless you'd like to have them wear something else in the formal…
"Captains will be able to acquire and try traditional sporting event snacks. Such snacks include Caramel-Coated Popcorn, Peanuts, Hotdogs, Stadium Brew and Nachos!" Five different kinds of nachos? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcaej-i3QQo
Dear Lord! The landing page even pops up in Preview Mode in the Foundry Editor! :s :s :s Please give us an option to disable this or fix it to where it doesn't pop up so often!
Looks like Foundry will be coming back up on Holodeck tomorrow! https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/10743204-pc-patch-notes-for-12%2F7%2F17 It should probably go without saying at this point, but nevertheless: play test your missions to look for game-breaking bugs. Also, I hope/wish that the…
I usually have a playlist for playing STO in general. However, I do have sort of a story element for my main alt where he has a certain song played over the ship's internal comms each time his ship crosses over from one quadrant to another, similar to how some sailors celebrate crossing over the equator.…
Based on info from Memory Alpha and what was mentioned in Path to 2409, The E was in service for over 35 years, which seems to be good for a ship named Enterprise.
I was noticing that as well. I honestly thought it was an issue similar to some of the pre-made maps that started after Season 12 (there's a Borg Interior map that had that problem). It didn't occur to me that the transporter room could do that when it was hidden. I'm going to work on that one. I hope to have it corrected…
Riding Bean. If I remember correctly, the manga version it's based on exists in the same universe as Gunsmith Cats. Also, one thing I have on my playlist is the soundtrack to the live-action Space Battleship Yamato, especially this track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgSJBNkY3k8
Yeah, I'm probably going to have to say "no" to running this as well. My work schedule pretty much leaves me exhausted by the time I get home to run this on multiple characters.
It's cool that they're fixing the rash guard clipping issue. Now if they could fix the clipping issue with the Risian Explorer Shirt. There seems to be some clipping issues on the male characters around the armpits.
It's been a while since we've seen some screenshots. I've been meaning to post something about this for some time, but always seem to get distracted. I'm getting close to finishing putting this mission together, so here it goes. Here's a few shots from [AEI] "The Three Star Tale, Part 2!"
I was wondering about the same thing too. (Ha ha ha.) Perhaps there was a Reliant that was commissioned that regained some positive notoriety at some point?
I'm guessing we'll have to wait until the manual publish feature is back up. I just tried to publish something, but got an error message saying that UGC publishing is disabled, which is strange for me since the editor is back up (I haven't encountered this particular issue before). I thought about starting a thread about…
I had something like that happen when I tried this for the first time. I was on the Blue Team, and pulled the lock at the bottom of the door into place and held it. The tractor beam eventually stopped and the lock appeared to have stayed in place, so I moved on. Later, when a teammate and I were working on the other two…
Also, when the Foundry starts coming back online, there is usually a couple of weeks where the option to leave reviews is turned off so we can go in and play our missions to see if any bugs crop up as a result of the season patch.
I have to agree on this as well. The whole protomatter restoration thing in this case just comes off as a little deus ex machina to me. Even the Genesis Device had to have the various vegetation programmed into its matrix and that (from what I remember) took time. Also, I still keep personally playing back the scene in…
