  • Yep. Here we go again...
  • Yes, this is happening now; and no, it didn't used to happen. I wouldn't mind so much, because you could always publish the partial mission just to test it for a little bit, and then withdraw the publish. Unfortunately, though, as of today, it seems that publishing is once again broken. Everything halts at 50%.
  • You're not crazy. Publishing seems to be broken again -- halts at 50% forever.
  • Still not working for me. Tried to publish three missions; all hung at 0% indefinitely. Tried starting one over again; now it's back to #52 in queue. :( BTW, what's with this new "queuing"? Missions used to start publishing immediately, and usually only took about 15 minutes. That system seemed to work beautifully, and…
  • I can confirm publishing is down for me as well. Has been for over a day now.
  • Also, there is now an issue with the animation (or lack thereof) for NPCs spawning: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=6933181#post6933181
  • I could've sworn the Foundry went down on November 13 with the season 7 patch, which was three weeks ago tomorrow.
  • I understand what happened; I'm just expressing shock that they're not talking about it. And when you think about it, there's really no reason why they can't turn editing back on and let us republish our missions. As for the timetable -- we're now at 3 weeks downtime, so I'm not sure if that's really "well under" the…
  • I vote against another auto-republish. That would mean the Foundry would be down for another week, probably. I'd rather they just put the Foundry editor back online, and let us edit/republish our missions manually. As in, right away. Let us get to work.
  • I can confirm that the patch did not work. NPCs still disappear, rendering missions incompletable. Perhaps missions just need to be republished... but Foundry editing is still down, so we can't get in to make changes and republish.
  • Yeah, I pointed out in one of the other threads here that the enemy mobs in my missions are disappearing when you move too far away from them, just like the friendly NPCs. This is particularly problematic in space battles, when players will frequently "fly away" from the battle in order to recharge their shields, etc. Get…
  • Brandon, any word on a fix for the disappearing NPCs in Foundry missions? No amount of editing by us authors is going to fix the missions if this bug isn't squashed by the devs.
  • This seems to be a widespread issue. When your character moves a certain distance away from NPCs (ally, enemy, or contact) they disappear. This happens in space as well, making for some interesting space combat. :) It's happened in every Foundry mission I've tested so far since the S7 update.
  • See my post in the other thread. It's a matter of distance. Move far enough away from any NPC (good, bad, or contact) and they disappear.
  • It's an issue of distance. I've confirmed this in multiple Foundry missions. If you move a certain distance away from NPCs (allies, enemies, or contacts) they simply disappear. This is especially obvious in space battle missions. Fly a little ways off and everyone disappears. Try it. It's happened in every Foundry mission…
  • Brandon, you mentioned that you don't anticipate missions breaking. But, since the re-opening of Foundry play today, problems have cropped up. In my mission "Orion Trilogy, part 3: Rebellion" for example, NPCs (including contacts) suddenly disappear partway through the first level, making the mission uncompletable. This…
  • Exact same thing happened to my mission, "Orion Trilogy, part 3: Rebellion" :( Addendum: I've confirmed that it is a distance issue -- when you move too far away from NPCs and Contacts, they disappear and do not come back.
