I'd love to have WoW maintenance times. They are not even noticeable because most of the time they are simply rolling restarts or the downtime starts at 4 am. STO maintenances eat up a whole evening every week since they start at my prime time.
They'd have to fix the scoring first. Self healing shouldn't award so much points that having the Valdore console almost guarantees the first place if you just keep taking damage.
Engineering captain adds survivability to an escort. Tactical captain adds damage potential to a cruiser. Cruisers don't really need more survivability these days.
Pugs understand it all right. Usually people spread out in the beginning but somewhere along the way (due to lack of tactics) notice that they can't actually manage to rescue anything and they promptly join another group. It doesn't even matter if I tell them that I can solo a location.
This thread is about captains, not ships though. I don't know why people keep mixing them up. Tactical doesn't have to fly an escort. Engineer doesn't have to fly a cruiser. Science doesn't... well, you get the point.
I've gotten the 1st place accolade with 14 characters including one with common Mk IX weapons. Just keep taking damage (ram those shards) and healing yourself and you will likely get it. You could try going to the ESD zone chat and asking how many have bought it. Most likely the average player hasn't even paid to remove…
That's strange. I was level 53-54 after doing the first 4 missions and various pve-queues. After that I did 14 Mirror Invasions and rest of the story missions up to 'Takedown' and I also replayed Argala patrol for a while to level up ship mastery. I just hit level 59 and I seriously doubt I will get 51,000 XP from a single…
Exactly. In more than 200 Mirror Invasions we never failed to get 50-55 marks because people were killing too fast. But there were situations were we couldn't keep the starbase at 100% health even though we closed a lot of rifts and upgraded defenses.
I'd settle for cross faction fleets and teaming. It's not like they are bothering to make the quests any different for KDF. Why not go the full distance?
Doesn't seem like it. It's pretty silly that if you play a mission where you have to disable 20 ships you get no mastery XP. And there are certainly plenty of those in Delta Quadrant.
