I won't quite call it a "pressing issue" but I can agree that we should still say we are interested. Sector space was an voiced issue for a long time and we recently had that addressed. Same goes for the "Galaxy-class" ship and the T6 Iconic bundle (opinions may vary). As for the Romulans, they still got their interiors…
Ah, so basically you want for all ships the interior room sets that is normally found in Federation/Klingon ships from the early days of STO (bridge, captain's quarters, sickbay, transporter room, and engineering). There's not much I can say for that in terms of your Vaadwaur, other than for deadlines were the most basic…
While I can agree that ship interiors is a worthy section of the game to be expanded, I don't think it's an immediate concern or even that high on the priority list. What OP has been describing sounds more like making the ship interior an adventure zone in of itself (with the mini-games and interactions). Doing that for…
Have you tried launching the GameClient.exe without going into ARC? Here are links to the posts in the Graphics error section that I used: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=21855841&postcount=80 http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=23396721&postcount=100 You might also want to update your video…
If it helps, I found selected "Safe Mode" in the launcher gets me into the game. Then I change my displays settings to DirectX 9 and readjust graphics as needed.
:: shrugs :: I'll be the first to admit that I have no evidence. But I've haven't seen (or simply overlook by accident) any evidence that the servers aren't at Cogent either.
As I mentioned to mirrochaos, it's just an observation I got from the tracert threads and thought it was something good to note in this discussion. If anything there's equal evidence of Cogent hosting the servers as there is evidence that Cogent isn't hosting the servers.
Each of my captains has their main starship that they fly 95% of the time. However, they do have a secondary ship (either their old ship they commanded before joining the fleet or a hull the fleet starbase has in drydock for testing), which they use when their regular ship has to be dock for a while. So yeah, thematic…
They weren't working on the Galaxy-X when they did the model/skin update. Source: https://twitter.com/Cryptic_TtC/status/582993658024103937 The Galaxy-X will probably get its treatment further down the line.
No problem. Fair warning though, the Galaxy-X is quite a different ship which takes some getting used to. Also, your eyes are deceiving you, the phaser lance cannon is not aligned right. But, the shotgun version of the phaser lance shot is pretty neat. Unfortunately, it's only available during saucer separation which I…
You need to get all of the Galaxy ships (Galaxy R, Venture, T6, etc) to have all of the consoles. The T6 only comes with the one mentioned in the Dev Blog. Thomas the Cat said they are not currently working on the Galaxy-X. Source: https://twitter.com/Cryptic_TtC/status/582993658024103937
I forgot where I read it (maybe io9.com or something), but someone looked over the episodes of TOS and realized that some of the "Away Team missions" were them just walking over to the sets of other shows happening near the filming stage. Aka, the Westerns, time travel, and the episodes about alternate earths. So, budget…
Did you do the tailor project? Try checking with Roxy at DS9. If not, this is how I fixed my Be'Ves post-S7: WARNING: THIS INVOLVES DISCARDING YOUR GEAR. DO NOT LOG OUT OR CLOSE CLIENT OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR GEAR. 1) Discard and recycle the Mk XII Honor Guard gear (Armor, Shield, and Gun). 2) Retrieve IMMEDIATELY from your…
I'll beg to differ. I think the length of the phaser strip represents the power available from that ship to put into a single phaser array. The advantage is a greater firing arc but the drawback is larger power requirement. I sort of draw upon this conclusion of the evolution from the "nipple beam banks" of the…
