Unlock C-Store Odyssey bridge for other ships

I have C-Store Odyssey with it's beautiful elaborated futuristic Aquarius bridge. But I don't fly Odyssey much. And I won't, it's T5 and now we have T6 so I fly Phantom and Eclipse at the moment, both supposed to be cutting-edge tech, and I am forced to use the regular bridge that simply does not cut it.

Please make the Aquarius bridge account unlock for all fed ships and leave on my decision whether I find the look out of the window matching the ship or not. Imho it would match Eclipse perfectly.

    The Aquarius bridge was meant to be the bridge of the Odyssey class and should remain exclusive to that ship, same with other ships that come with their own bridge and/or interiors. Also, the Odyssey is still very good when upgraded to T5-U with all three consoles on it.

    I love the Aquarius bridge and would love to have it available for my other ships if I wanted it, but I can also understand why it's not in the same way that all the other ship/class specific interiors aren't available account wide.

    What I would like to see (although I fully expect to never get it) are fuller interiors for ships like my Mobius where there's only a bridge, not even a ready room far less the other decks and stuff.

    Actually, the bridge module of the Thunderchild is REALLY similar to the Odyssey, so, if you'd remove the subdeck, it'd be a perfect fit.

    Had the shipdevs shown a bit more consistency, the Aquarius bridge exterior model would've been used for other ships too... but for some reason, they end up trying too hard to be creative (or not enough, as is the case for the Regent-class' puny low poly bridge).

    At least the Tempest-class bridge fits very well externally with the Origin one.But yeah; in general they're all over the place.

    I would like to see a variant of the Oddy bridge where the transporter pad on the bridge is replaced with a tubolift, kind of like the TOS bridge.

    This is a stupid idea that is the bridge of the oddy nothing else don't like it buy an oddy an then you can sit an look at it all you want we don't even go to the brige unless its for Rp or for a mission an even then its for the console in the ready room.

    In many sources, site to site transport is not very efficient. Also, if the Oddy really is that big, why even make such a huge capital ship? While the Romulans made the D'D huge, the Dominion have their Battleship, and the Kazon have their carrier, the Federation never really was about those uber-ships. Besides, this isn't The Galactic Empire of Star Wars with their huge fanboy super star destroyers.

    There is a TOS bridge with the bundle... also in before the lock on a necro thread.

    While I think the Aquarius Bridge should probably stay exclusive, could we maybe unlock the actual Oddyssey bridge? Before the uninformed start making fools of themselves, the Oddyssey bridge was included with the free or fleet varient. It is a lot more nuetral and would fit other vessels just fine.

    We warp in and 9 times out of ten we just blast a ship to bits, hell we dont even consider the option of disabling it anymore.

    and arnt we forcing our ideals onto the Delta Quadrent?

    Wheter or not such a bridge should fit canon-wise should really be up to the player. There's a lot of things flying around that don't make sense to me, but which bridge a player uses isn't something that affects other players. So there's no real reason not to allow the players that bought the Odyssey store variant, to use the bridge on their other ships.

    It might even help sell a few more Odysseys...

    Oh, no. Keep that Oddy bridge on the Oddy where it belongs. I'm a dedicated Oddy players - I have a scad of other ships, but I only ever take them out for one or two STFs tops before I switch back to my beloved Oddy. That's the ship I've flown since it came out and I think of it as -my- ship. :D

    If they do anything for the Oddy, I'd love more skins for the ship itself. Some new mix and match options. That would be grand.

    The only variation of the Oddy bridge that I would even want to use on a ship other than the Oddy herself would be one where the transporter pad on the bridge is replaced with a turbolift. That is really the only bridge I would use on my Fleet Patrol Escort.

    So it's ok for me to fly a galaxy with Voyager's bridge, but your world will end if people can use the odyssey bridge for their ship, when you'll never see it yourself and therfore never be affected by it?

    I don't see where that makes any sense ... sorry

    Me neither. If we can use Voyager's bridge on every Fed ship, then it should be no different with the Oddy bridge.

    In what way would it diminish your gameplay if another player (who also bought the Odyssey in the store) uses the bridge on one of their other ships?

    It doesn't even hurt immersion, because you can't even see what bridge a player uses on their ship unless you get invited to it.

    There is absolutely no reason other than programmer time to not allow for this feature.

    Agreed on all counts. Each ship has its own specific bridge that was designed for it. Just because a ship isn't T6 doesn't mean its useless. My T5U galaxy and T5 sovereign both still leave their mark on T6 ships.

    The voyager bridge is usable on any ship, not just the Intrepid variants.
