  • Yeah, they don't have that fixed yet... so basically, you'll likely have to reset it again (if you can).
  • Well, slow Dev news today. But the Devs don't need to post every day. We haven't seen more than BranFlakes, commenting VERY BRIEFLY on some of the problems with conversion. And by that I mean, people having problems converting, not any of the actual complaints. Looks like PWE is going to let people complain, and hope it…
  • That's going to be fun when the spambots start coming. ^_^
  • Thank you very much. I was getting annoyed by people constantly saying at a loss. I will be copying your chart, to respond to anyone complaining about Zen in other topics. Thanks again.
  • Well, I don't exactly think that the "Star Trek" part had anything to do with them not caring. That's completely different. Now, granted, Star Trek Online is being killed for me because they no longer show much care for what the community thinks. PWE has made it quite clear that they are ignoring most of the feedback.…
  • Same problem seen in another post. You need to change your password. It is as simple as that.
  • Soon you will have to have a Perfect World Account to play STO, or use the forum. You'll have the choice of merging your current account (if you have one), or making a new PWE.
  • Two fixes to this post. One, "Up to 4 hours" not "At least 4 hours." Second, there isn't an exchange cost. $10 still buys you the same amount of C-Points at the end of the day, even after "conversion."
  • It's the day of the update, and Cryptic (No, Perfect World) lacks more than ONE SINGLE EMPLOYEE monitoring, and responding no the site. And they've heavily restricted what that one employee can do and say (BranFlakes). So he's posted in about one topic... when there is SO MUCH RAGE to address. Fail. More than fail.…
  • What CRYPTIC has done? Hardly. I blame PWE entirely for this debacle. Granted, Cryptic just barely exists anymore, now mere puppets to their PWE masters.
  • Well, good. I'm glad to hear that. Best of luck in playing STO. I'm sure that'll become a pain soon enough.
  • What email? I believe this account is registered to FarkDugen@Blah.Nut. Good thing they don't make you confirm your email. ^_^
  • Hey, I never claimed the web-team was smart. I just claimed they existed. Which may also be false.
  • Not that I am aware of. Once you have linked accounts, they are permanently linked. Unless something changes on the programming side of things (with the Web-Team), then you are kinda... screwed.
  • Well, you can't get your subscribed threads, and "all that good stuff" because the forum where your "subscribed threads" were is gone. Long gone. This is a Perfect World Sub-Forum, which just happens to have a copy of all the posts made, now under the Username "Archived Post" (I believe).
  • A valid point. However, the reason a lot of people still believe this is that there are several employees FROM Cryptic that still work on Star Trek Online (Dan Stahl, etc), and this creates the 'illusion' for most people, that the game is still being created by them.
  • Well, it'd be a forum-only account, but people could certainly do it.
  • Well, a new forum account, I suppose. It synced your Game-Account with a new forum account. Also, you can always put your original join-date in your signature. That's what I plan to do, should I be forced to officially convert.
  • You can try changing the password. There's a bug with the accounts in that, it won't tell you if your new password is invalid (ie, too short or long). That's all I can recommend.
  • BranFlakes likely has no choice in the matter. He has free reign to post within certain restrictions. Chances are, right now, the CEOs, or whoever is in charge, told him "Do not post anything beyond X parameters right now, it will only make things worse." There's also the chance that the Web-Team told him that vBulliten…
  • It's not really fail, OR wrong. These aren't the Star Trek Online forums you know. These forums are a subsidiary of the Perfect World site, and forums, and are thus "Brand New." They simply copied over all the posts from that "old, Star Trek Online Forum," with all the posters being renamed "Archived Post." They set up a…
  • Is it telling you the password is wrong? Or something?
  • Well, it's semi-integrated. Yes, you need to have your account be 10 Days old in PWE eyes. That much can't be avoided. However, I've heard that creating a new character automatically refreshes your character list in the PWE system, allowing you to do the surveys/other offers.
  • Ah, thanks. I'm not using my account (as I haven't converted), but I'm a Lifer, and would have LOVED to know what else they f***** up.
  • If I recall, it says SOMEWHERE that it can only be opened once. I can't recall, for the life of me, where though.
  • Oh no, it won't be unlinked. They're fully bringing Cryptic, and all its games (Champions Online, coming in the future) into the fold. Note that we are no longer on the "Star Trek Online" website, but a SUB-Website of PerfectWorld.com.
  • What LiveTime (Lifetime?) perk was removed?
  • Well, I agree (as above), that we are the Beta Test for this site and forum change. I've wanted to make missions in the Foundry forever... but I just can't stand how limited it is. I heard they were going to add "Cutscene" stuff into it a while back, but it looks like that just got ported to Neverwinter, and never touched…
  • Well, I have bad news for you, since I have the perfect explanation for that. We are the Beta Test.
  • Because, this isn't the STO site anymore. This is a SUB-Site of PerfectWorld (if you look at the URL at the top of the browser, you will see), and only certain information was transferred. Thank you PWE Web-Team for your fail.
