... The Cryptic devs haven't posted a bit? I know at least some of them would bring a spark of hope or happiness or whatever with a well-placed post with a proper sense of humor (oh Tumerboy, where are you...? Come out, come out, wherever you are! xD)

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.p3OEBPD6HU3QI.jpg

Well, slow Dev news today. But the Devs don't need to post every day.

We haven't seen more than BranFlakes, commenting VERY BRIEFLY on some of the problems with conversion. And by that I mean, people having problems converting, not any of the actual complaints.

Looks like PWE is going to let people complain, and hope it dies down on its own.

Dev tracker still isn't working, I'm sure that Brandon probably has told them, don't bother until I fix it.

I believe the Dev tracker is working. The problem is that the developers have not been flagged as Dev. I have seen at least 3 others who are not Branflakes posting.

The old board wasn't on a phpBB base from what I recall, so all of that dev tracker stuff has to be redone.

Anyone want to place bets on how long that will take? A decent, entirely imaginary bottle of scotch for the victor.
    Relax.

...I think it would be wise for the Devs to let this one sit. I know they are probably not responsible, as they are no longer in charge of the website, but that still won't prevent them from taking a great deal of fire.

As for dieing down, It won't. The fire from the Lockboxes hasn't even died yet. STO is the most active community PWE has. Butchering the main tool of said community, is a measure beyond stupid.

They probably were not told of the change, and are sitting on the old forums wondering where everyone is

Seems it could be a permissions issue as well. I spotted darthpanda asking for feedback on what appeared a regular account (permissions wise). I wonder if they will all go red now instead of Gold, or different colors for different roles.

Myabe Bran is Command Division etc...! ^^

Oh man picturing the devs sittin' at their workstations and making posts and getting all salty that the community has fallen silent on them is kind of amusing.

I wouldn't count on it. This can't have been an unexpected occurrence for them, they had to have known it was coming. If it was, and I'm sure it was, then they are a party to it and just as responsible for not giving us any warning.

When I click on the Today's Posts link at the header, I get a site search for posts for three of the devs. Been meaning to mention that.

I just got the worse response from a PW tech support person on one of my tickets. You'll have to forgive me if I don't give details about yet another bug here in the forums if that;s the TRIBBLE I;m going to get back.

Well perhaps the sciences could return to a teal color like voy/ds9/nem to get around that ^^.

I'd guess jkstocbr is right. Poor Devs, they've been cut off.

(and yes, that idea is kind of amusing  )
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

Maybe some of the devs aren't posting because when they tried to link their accounts they found their old handle was already taken?

If you click on the devtracker it tells you who it is searching for, the rest haven't been added yet. They probably don't even have their devtags yet either.

PWE doesn't usually let the devs talk to the players so it's not something they are used to doing.

You're right, it wasn't phpBB it was vBulletin, which this is as well...
