While traveling in sector space we are able to enter interior of our starships without it stopping to our destination. Right now, while travelling, if you enter starship interior you stop. Why not allow us to continue to travel while visiting the interior of our starships and perhaps have the helm officer have a pop-up notification that we have arrived.
When you go to the interior of your ship, it's another whole map, you are no longer in sector space, per se.

For warp speed to be tied to warp cores not impulse engines. Something like this:

    Mk 1=warp 5.5
    Mk 2=warp 6
    Mk 3=warp 6.5
    Mk 4=warp 7
    Mk 5=warp 7.5
    Mk 6=warp 8
    Mk 7=warp 8.5
    Mk 8=warp 9
    Mk 9=warp 9.5
    Mk10=warp 10 or 9.97 for fun
    Mk 11=warp 11
    Mk 12=warp 12
    Mk 13=warp 13
    Mk 14= warp 14

Impulse engines that already increase warp speed above 10 could instead give a bonus to engine power, starship impulse thrusters, or starship engine performance skills.

    my simple wishlist.

return of explorable clusters, we need more materials, since making que for random group had gone silent, another ghost town.

soloable que with scaledown mark rewards and retry mission on cooldowns.

bring back Alpha Memory, for non-bridge officer missions on craftings or researchings, or as all new "fleet rep" or new shipyard retrofit station.

more sockets for "Trophy Collections", we hadnt got any new one since 2-3 years ago in ship decks, and personal bedroom with decorating themes.

    Gamma Quadrant
Expansion of the doff system, raise commendation levels up to 10, Each new levels would grant bonuses and each type of commendations would have different bonuses (Engineering would give a bonus to crafting skills, Trader could reduce prices in various stores, etc...) New Doff assignments and chains based on commendation levels
R&D skill added to older Doffs and a way to identify doffs with that skill
Doff recruitment in Delta Quadrant, Dyson Sphere, DS9 with Doff specific to those areas (can use Dil as a currency for these)
Reduce time gates in Crafting, Reputation (make it 12h instead of 20 hours)
More solo options to gain marks (especially Iconian, Terran, Undine)
Flesh out the lore for existing races (andorians, Tellarites, Gorn, Nausicaans, Vulcans, etc)
New missions on New Romulus, Nimbus, Defera, Nukara
Shared Dil bank across all characters
Reduce the fleet creation requirement to 3 people instead of 5
Better A.I. for BOFF's on ground missions. More control over BOFF's during ground play
Honor system for Klingon characters (kinda like TOR's light and Dark side)
Upgrade system for BOFF's (possibility of raising quality to obtain Epic BOFF's)

T6 scimi? Scimitar is still better than the most T6 ships thx 5/3 weapons, cmdr. tac seat, lt.cmdr. uni and imo the best hangar pet. What do you want more? OSS or pilot maneuvers? I think a scimitar release as Z store ship was a fail from merchant view, because that ship was (is) better than lock-box ships. It not happened again.
Canon ships like Sovereign and BoP (regular one, not B'rel) still waiting for their T6 versions.

Oddy and Bortasqu deserve T6 versions too. And instead of T6 scimi i like to see any romulan science ship.

    so my wish list

    1. Romulan equivalent to KDF's shipyard since apparently we have a shipyard but don't see it
    2. Romulan Acadamy, we have a city thats half built so where is the acadamy for the romulan republic.
    3. Romulan and Reeman BOFF recruitment assignments and more romulan/reeman Doff recruitment stuff.
    4. Exploration
    5. New federation ship interior... just copy paste the one from the feddy tutorial already >_>

also would like to see a pirate or mercinary playable character starting on nimbus or somthing.

So many great suggestions in the thread.
    My wish list.

    - Gamma Quadrant
    - playable faction (dominion, cardie, borgie, whatev)
    - new story content please
    - STF daily events to encourage participation at random

    Stocking stuffers:
    -- T6 nebula, oddy, ambassador
-- moar colorful weapon flavors within types (like the radiant antiproton or phased biomatter etc)
-- more bonuses, content that encourages teamwork -- strategy is more fun than DPS tests.
-- revamp of Sci so that we can be of use to teams beyond an obnoxious-to-construct particle build which feels like we work 3 times as hard to implement as we have to on our tac toons who get to a 'useful to team' point with more ease.
--whycome Korfez only haz elite plz? I like space STF -- I would like another space alternative to BDA for delta marks. BDA is a bait and switch with an "objective" that requires "strategy" until you get to the dreads and it's just a DPS bar. Zzzzzzzzz

    Tier 6 Sovereign. +1

Tier 6 Klingon Carrier (Free completely new Model <Tiers).

Universal Borg Race (for Subs/Lifers.. Hell everyone).

    Canon Alien-Race Templets.

    Klingon Gloves.

    "Hair-Down" options for Cat-Races.

Anniversary tier 6 Flagships Oddy/Simmy/Bortos. (Free/DEEP-Discount), And while your at it, Make it so the Oddy can use All its abilities at once (Chevron/Aquarius)..

having to choose is the only reason I don't use it and I'm still not getting my moneys worth for the bundle (Three/Four years later).

    for me it would be:

    - bug fixes
    - bug fixes
    - bug fixes
    - a fix for the AI (NPC behaviour, Boff pathing, pet AI)
    - revamp of the rewards of most of the missions out there. The latest Cardassian arc revamp had some of the most unimagniative, boring rewards out there, when compared to the Iconian arc for example. Zero replay value.
    - bug fixes
    - fix for graphic issues (clipping, horrible character customization screen)
    - a true and decent revamp of the doff UI. Not that horrible, ugly piece of TRIBBLE revamp we got the last time.
    - removal of the ground "lag"
    - at least some rudimentary and basic form of customer support.

so overall: a fix for the tons of existing issues out there, before they implement even more rushed, bugged, laggy content and just keep piling up the TRIBBLE on top of even more and older TRIBBLE. The state the game currently is in and the way content is being released just shows that the people who work on the game are without clue, emotion, ambition and passion for the product they're releasing.

Open up the alpha and the beta maps as one large map
allow people who have purchased part of the voyager dlc to purchase the rest of the dlc
bring the new enterprise ship from the movie into the game with the interior as well to mathch it because it would look stupid if it didnt and its a really nice ship

    ethical monetization.
I'm kinda curious how you define this... Especially in the context of "other games do it better".
There are numerous articles on the interwebs that explain it better than I ever could. Here's one of them.

But if you want some honest opinions on which games do it better, I can list a few off the top of my head. Warframe. and Path of Exile.

I'm not advocating they copy what other games do exactly as they do, because STO is its own creation and any ethical monetization changes (if any), need to come from in-house.

But really, when it comes to STO, it gives me the impression they only work for the short term. I'm not seeing a lot of long term vision in their plans. If I'm not seeing a clear path of where a game is going, I'm going to end up losing interest faster because I'm not interested in playing for the short term.
Uh, so what do YOU think is better about the monetization of Warframe and Path of Exile? How does it impact you as a player of those games?

At any rate, the big picture is like a mosaic. It's made out of a lot of little pictures.

I'm thinking a lot of it has to do with pricing things reasonably. I honestly believe the prices PWE is asking for is a bit unreasonable given comparable virtual items in other games. $7 for a ship upgrade token is too much. $40 for a T6 ship is too much.

There should be a different system where it's pay4convenience rather than pay2win. The dilithium costs for some things are just plain ludicrous compared to what they give you. I'm feeling pigeonholed into creating alts specifically for farming dilithium as a direct result of the unreasonable costs for various things. Am I being forced to do that? No. Can I live without the new shiny things that I consider unreasonably priced? Of course I can. But if their dilithium costs are there to give players a feeling of trading time for money (or zen), the return rate on that time put into the game is dismal. I don't feel players are getting a fair return if all it comes down to is how many alts can hit the 8k dilithium cap the fastest.

I'm also not being given much incentive to participate and throw in if I feel the burden of "the grind", especially if I'm not seeing an end in sight. I'm less likely to give money to a company who does not have a clear vision of where they want their creation to go -- or if they do, if I don't agree with that vision. This is something other companies I feel do better with their monetization. They make it clear to the players what their future ambitions are.

My fleet is still T4 and there is no longer any feeling of accomplishment to get to T5 in my fleet for various reasons, including the fact Cryptic is already releasing T6 versions of the T5 Fleet ships we were all looking forward to unlocking... the ferver and sense of unity and goal-establishment has been gelded as a result of their monetization strategies and paywalls.

I'm alright with companies using these quick cash-grab strategies for short-term capital gain. I was even alright with it for a very long time as I knew the 'get rich quick' strategy of lock boxes would in turn fund further innovation for STO.

However, I have not seen much in the way of innovation. I'm seeing the same things I've seen and done already, but at the same price as before -- if not given a price mark-up.

The other thing Warframe does better is they're way more apologetic in the mistakes they make. If the Warframe development team makes a mistake that affects something directly related to players spending money, they typically compensate their players for their mistake instead of making them swallow it.

At Cryptic, I get the opposite feeling. I get the feeling that because their development team does not plan ahead (or for the long term), that players aren't allowed to either. This was most recently emphasised with the retirement of the Risa Pearls and Q Photos in exchange for the new currencies. Problems that have persisted for years, yet aren't addressed until recently understandably sours the relationships to players who have the foresight that the development team doesn't have.

I'm also seeing that in the 'bug' with the Embassy 'special projects' where you could throw in a few thousand dilithium for a cosmetic upgrade that was never really there. The projects couldn't be cancelled, and that dilithium did not affect the fleet, other than turning it into fleet credits for personal gain.

This also includes things like double dipping, which I've criticised Cryptic for on multiple occasions. Simply repackaging a jackpot lockbox ship like the Shesar dreadnought with a new specialization focus without the ability to exchange an old one is quite simply wrong, given the amount of zen/dilithium or EC pricetag placed on those 'grand prize' ships.

Cryptic's policy for mistakes they make is that the players have to pay for Cryptic's mistakes (including mistakes that directly involve money spent on the game) -- unless the outcry is so loud that they might be forced to issue a non-apology or some other meager form of reparations. If a company does that because they feel morally obligated to, rather than because customer opinion is forcing their hand, I'm probably going to be more willing to do business with that company.

Stephen Ricossa has made some real progress on that front (even if it isn't perfect, but nobody bats 100), and I see the potential for more ethical decision making at Cryptic. But unless that potential is tapped, it's the same song and dance each update.

I think I've been fair with this criticism, and I like to think I've been patient in waiting for Cryptic to distance themselves from the short term gain, and minimal effort for maximal profit. But it's an addiction. When you see that kind of cashflow, it's hard to say, "I don't think we need to be receiving that much money."

But if you want to foster a warmer relationship with your customers, sometimes sacrificing a percentage of your profits for a clear conscience and a positive response from your customers is worth it.

What I'd like to see is a way to 'test fly' your ships before you buy them. Maybe on a 'test fly' map with different enemies. Let us set it up how we would if we'd bought it and then test drive it out. If we don't like it, we take our stuffs back, put the crappy stuff the ship comes with back and then not buy it.

If this makes any sense. It's what one of my friends told me that she wants to see. Because if she'd seen how poorly she flew the scimitar then she would have never bought it.
Now a LTS and loving it.

Thats kinda what I meant...albeit something more simple. Have a simple beam or cannon set up, you choose and from the ship buyer, you can do to a small test map with a few enemies spawn for you to check out the ship. Nothing major...just to see if you like how it moves.

Yeah, have options to try out like other weapons, consoles, etc. Only they would be demonstration-only and would go back into the 'selection' screen when you're through.

Just let us test-fly them to see if they will fit with what we want.

I'd like to see less whiners in the game crying how this and that are OPed and prove they are to lazy to learn how to build ships or learn tactics.
The other thing I'd like to see is another player feedback thing like the FedCarrier for future Klingon ships so we get some decent looking ships for a change. The pilot and Matha were a nice breath of air but the rest not so much. Not commenting on the T-6 varients of existing ships but meaning the fresh sheet of paper ones.

Know all of these have already been requested by others. But I really support these.
I don't care what reason other people give for these shouldn't happen. This is just a wishlist.

    1. More Crossfaction Access/Teaming. We are at peace. Not a temporary ceasefire or temporary agreement. PEACE! Why can't we access eachothers places? Heck, I also wanna see Crossfaction Fleet options, I love playing and flying my KDF character and ships, but my friends mostly play FED side, so its hard to get the KDF fleet stuff up.

    2. Return of the "Replay Featured Episodes" for the special rewards.

    3. Return of other special event rewards. (Worf Sash/Beard/Hair. Shotgun. Anti-proton torp... and other one-time rewards... I am seriously tired of havin to explain and let down new people, that they can't have all the same awesome items as me, and they got access to less overall content that me, simply cause they joined later. Also same thing that kinda turns me away from making new characters, got items I don't use on current character, but I would love to use for a concept on another.)

    4. Bring back retired ships/Don't retire anything else. (Seriously stop removing content.)

    5. Return of chance to earn the Annorax, as that ship currently is no longer available. (kinda the same as 4)

    6. All faction ship hull textures available for the faction ships. (meaning fx, any fed ship can use the type 6 and type 7 hulls textures as long as you got it for one ship, same for KDF and Rom with KDF and Rom textures.)

    7. Return of Voyager Bridge for sale in Zen Store. People shouldn't be forced to buy a large ship pack for them.

    8. More uniform options from the show. (Doctors coat, MACO uniforms, Hats and helmets...etc...)

    9. More rank pins aswell as Titles to match them. (Provisional ranks pins, Enlisted ranks pins, Fleet Captain rank pin.)

    10. Option to be addressed as selected Title instead of ingame Rank. So anyone that is Fleet Admiral but wants NPCs to address them as Captain, only gotta select the Captain title.(Noticed a lot of people asking for this. Doesn't sound like a bad idea IMO.)

    11. KDF missions that focus on the other enemies of the Empire. So Klingons can still maintain a Warrior culture and at the same time be at peace with Feds and Roms (The Klingon Empire got a huge space, and thier borders line up to other places other than the Federation and Romulans.. who is on the other side of KDF space? who do they fight there?)

    12. T6 KDF alien ships (Orion, Nausicaan, and Gorn. Also ships for Letheans and Ferasans.)

    13. T6 Fed alien ships ( Vulcan, Caitian, Andorian...)

    14. Suliban and other aliens for Rom faction?(as well as thier ships)

    15. Better hair for the cat races.

    16. Better hair for Klingons, Nausicaans, and other races with high forheads. Overall, more forehead showing friendly hair. (Nice big topic here: http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/1192191/klingon-hair/p1 )

    17. Gorn are still missing the "Mass" and "Physique" sliders they were given when they got the new models. This bug have been around since season 7 now, I think. I would like them back as the other slider options hardly change the Gorn body.

    18. Option to delete Tovan Khev. I played the missions from start to end. He isn't importen anymore, he serves no point being on my ship.

    19. More Feedback/News from Devs about upcoming content and progress.

    20. More customizable interiors options for ships and fleet starbase. (doesn't have to be "select where each chair/potted plant is"-style, just diffrent premade stuff would do.)

    21. Romulan Bridge Pack.

An option to convert T5U-T6 would be nice. (I'm not holding my breath, however, since I know selling T6 ships is lucrative for them)

Applying T6F discounts for those who have already paid for T5F ships would be nice, too- I'm not going to pay for another 5 fleet modules just so I can get maybe 1 extra console and a few more hull points after already buying the ship and 4 fleet modules previously.

Some marketing "genius" already screwed up the system with the balance of T5-U/T6 and we see the results of this- pretty much a cash-grab versus residual income decision, IMO.
It's not you- it's me. I just need my space.

Being critical doesn't take skill. Being constructively critical- which is providing alternative solutions or suggestions to a demonstrated problem, however, does.

Just thinking about your idea. Not sure if this would even be doable for the developers, but...it definitely has money-making potential. First, they would be able to continue to sell T5-U upgrade tokens to get ships to T5-U status...then, once the ship is at T5-U, they could sell another upgrade token that would get it to T6. It might have more money-making potential than selling T6 ships outright because any T5 ship could become a T6. This idea would also effectively extend the T6 lifespan. Not bad!

All that having been said...I'll be happy if we see the next story arc/episode for Season 11 within the next two weeks. I'm thinking the good folks at Cryptic are hard at work and strapped for time.
