    same here...

    also all of my fleet mates can't login

    Thirding this issue. Login server is DoA (dead on arrival) again.
    My guide to internet survival:

    NEVER argue with trolls, drunks, idiots, or conspiracy nuts. They'll just drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

    Yup getting the same issues...its probably the account server hasn't fully initialized so I'll keep trying for now

    I am also getting Login_2 timeout while retrieving the list of characters...

    Having the same issue. It must not be affecting everyone, as it doesn't seem to be blowing up the forums... EDIT: Just realized the game must've just come back up...

    Same issue here, either indefinite "connecting to server" screen, or indefinite "retrieving character list" screen, can't access the game. Obviously something with the morning maintenance/new patch.

    As usual, a planned 2 and a half our downtime is turning into a 4 or 5 hour one.

    I can login via xmpp but not via launcher...it looks like this is affecting more than a few as the chat list for the vine chat is almost completely empty atm.

    Just thought of something... Cryptic's based in the San Francisco Bay Area, right?

    I live inland from them, and we're having a MAJOR winter storm (by NorCal standards) right now. High winds, heavy rain, localized flooding...

    Cryptic is located in Los Gatos, in the Silicon Valley region, but the Servers are located at a Cogent Server Farm located in Boston...

    (makes you wonder if the East Coast Blizzard has anything to do with this, but unlikely since all the major facilities are indoors...)

    Bleh start playing a new game, get really into and then bam technical issue prevent me from playing. First world problems at its finest :(

    Welcome to Star Trek Offline everyone lol ...Seriously I'm wondering if this is connected to the recent dc and bad connect issues people have been having. Maybe now the actual problem showed up properly so the devs can find and fix it. Sure hope so.

    I'll keep watching for the all clear...thanx for doing all you can to sort this devs...I know how difficult running a network can be and appreciate your efforts.

    The Epohh King is holding the Server Hamsters hostage -or- The Server Hamsters have gotten stuck in the snow on the way to work.

    It is funny, that after each maintenance the server comes officially online (green status), but nobody can login to the game. Or what is the right word... ... ah yes, not funny, but ridiculous. And then the put everybody on probation when the user starts paying.

    In any other company the developers and the IT would have been fired already a dozen times!!!

    Social media is ALWAYS the best place to get updates on STO. Why would they be in the OFFICIAL Forums?

    Those who can do...do. Those who can't are usually the first to complain.:D

    But are you a network engineer or game developer? Do you have the qualifications and experience to do what they do? In other words...are you qualified to judge?

    For me, this is the first time this year that this had happened, as normally I can get into STO the moment the Server Light turns green. So this is an exceptional event that is occurring. Though if you've ever worked with TCP/IP networks, 's**t' happens, you just have to roll with the punches...

    (And exactly how many weeks have you been playing STO, if this happens after every maintenance you've seen ???)
