Seems to be either the Login2 server, or the main server that is causing this. This really stinks Cryptic...
And no word/notice from STO. Half of the frustration can be quelled if they would just give some sort of notice announcing they are on the job. But their twitter feed is filled with the same mealymouthed company-man platitudes "Don't miss the weekend blah blah blah" set up an hour ago.
Maybe nobody told their twitter drone that their servers down yet.
Can you please ensure you leave any error messages you get.
For example, for me, it trys to log me in and then times out with a "Login2_Timeout" error.
Sometimes and can get to the character selection screen, but then times out again.
Extra information allows the engineers to figure out the problem.

What about when we are just randomly disconnected because "Server Not Responding (counting seconds here) and then BOOM out again.? 6 disconnects in ten minutes. No error messages, no codes, no nothing.
The point is, little troll, that STO, under Cryptic's inept hand, has many, many problems - well beyond this. Server outages like this are just a symptom of the overall incompetence this game has been handled with since Beta.
Which reminds me, there are still bugs in this game that existed since Beta.

I was doing an Elite when we got dc'ed. We were almost finished as-well. And there's still no message on the launcher. So no big deal, just a few hundred people trying to find out why they cannot play <insert sarcasm here>.
Wow, this really is like a Mexican wave of server instability. I can almost predict when I'll next be kicked off just by watching who out of my friend list is being kicked when.
Why can't they put a message up when trying to log, to atleast inform us to what's going on? Is this where my gold Subscription money goes? To a game that's terribly unstable with a lack of communication from the very people that should be informing us to what's going down?

I looked on the map and I'm pretty sure Kobali Prime was empty. Saturday definitely is not the time for server issues.
