But that's not the only information available here. The patch notes says that they're Intel uniforms. The Intel specialization is brand-new to us, which implies that each element of the theme has a chance of making it to player character access. Plus, there have been examples of elements existing in the Foundry(er rather, Tribble Foundry) first that have then became available outside Tribble. The example that immediately comes to mind is the Risian Cruiser.
If you wanna keep it hush-hush, that's fine. I'm just pointing out that it's reasonable to conclude the possibility of it.
There was... an "uh-oh" posted somewhere a few weeks ago. This "uh-oh" mentioned two things: the Dauntless, and an Intelligence uniform.
Hundreds of ZEN. Wow. That's... what, a buck a day? You're grinding your aft off... for a buck a day? (more specifically somewhere around $1.14 a day)
As for my tendency to use caps, I do so in an endeavor to ensure I am not misunderstood - as often happens when I do otherwise. So, you can either stop debating me or get over it. I'm trying to ensure there is as little breakdown in communication as possible, to prevent misunderstandings from TRIBBLE up the matter.
It's simply the way I operate - I haven't spent money on this game besides a LTS, nor do I have any need to. And it's not grinding my aft off, because it's not even that big of an issue to do so on ten characters once or twice a day, or even more at times via the Doff system. Sometimes I do it for days/weeks, sometimes I don't at all for awhile; it depends.
Either way, that plus the monthly LTS stipend, it adds up overtime. It works for me, and that's good enough.
As for caps, making sure you're not misunderstood is all well and good, but overuse of all caps can give a bad impression. Plus I'm not really debating you with the goal of winning; I'm simply stating my opinion on the matter.

"All queues will reward Skill Points, Dilithium, and Crafting materials based on their difficulty level"
How about adding those modules needed for buying Mk XII gear in Rep to all difficulty levels of play.
Normal can earn up to 3 modules (Omega, Voth, Undine, DR) in 20 hours
Advance can earn a module with each queued event (unlimited)
Elite can earn two modules with each queued event (unlimited)
This way the players not wanting to deal with the new Advance level play can just get the modules through normal.
Also, just add non-upgradeable MK XI gear to the old DS9 Omega Store and call it the Special Operations Depot (Omega, Voth, Undine, and DR) to allow for new players to have something to use early on in game (minimum rank VA/LTG and is dilithium purchased)
rofl I remember geko saying over and over that the aquarius is not a raider over and over.
Now its labeled that its still not a raider but an escort but it has raider powers and is essentially is a bop lol. Although I don't see anything giving any bops any love though which did not come as a surprise.
Edit: From above if ppl seriously want to play absoletely free its just like an hour or so every other day + the horrible wait with the new doff UI for those missions to complete but its not grinding your tail off its just clickity click for an hour every other day and own everything you want. Although the problem most time since its a KDF pro... you will find yourself having not much to spend your resources on due to low KDF development and not much love given to existing content compared to federation and romulan characters.
Just adding my 2 energy credits to the reduction in dilithium rewards and the fact that ques will no longer award gear...I don't like these changes at all. I make almost all of my energy credits from winning Star Base 24, Elite Crystaline Entity, Gorn Mine Field, etc... They award purples, which I then sell on the Exchange. I'm not sure how I'll make energy credits going forward...and the dilithium required for crafting upgrades is bad enough. Please don't nerf the Dilithium payouts. There's too many changes to the game right now and it's negatively affecting my confidence in the product.
I'm a lover not a fighter. But I'm also a fighter so don't get any ideas...
I am curious as to the reason why the dilithium rewards have been reduced.
Wasn't Advanced Queues supposed to be more or less the current Elite Queues (except all current optionals will become mandatory)?
It seems odd that we will be getting significantly less rewards for harder PvP gameplay. Especially odd considering the devs are saying that Elite will be much more challenging, yet only getting 960 dilithium.

All queues will reward Skill Points, Dilithium, and Crafting materials based on their difficulty level.
8,000 16,000 Skill Points based on average time in queue.
240, 480, or 960 Dilithium based on difficulty.
One problem is that the official difficulty Cryptic assigns to a mission often doesn't match the mission's actual difficulty. For example, Starbase Incursion is currently rated as Normal on Tribble, but PUGs often have no idea what to do. That mission should probably be reclassified as Advanced.
I realize that you want to make crafting and the upgrade system the primary sources of high-level gear, but you have to leave something of value for ordinary players to trade to the crafters. Purple crafting materials are one thing that can be traded for EC. Another is the occasional purple drop with good modifiers. But you are drastically cutting this source of income. Either restore the gear rewards or replace them with guaranteed drops of crafting materials. For example:
1st place: two purple crafting materials
2nd place: one purple crafting material
3rd place: one blue crafting material
The long range science vessel can seriously use some love unless they are planning to release a new version of the intrepid with the interior to be bundled.
It would be nice to see a LtCmdr Tactical station and instead of the 5th science console maybe a third tactical console for its T5-U.
Delta Rising or Delta Nerfing. Nerfing the rewards, Rising the sinks and difficulties, yep the name of the expansion is very debatable. Nevertheless the science vessel changes are good and a lot of science captains will be happy.
What gives with the dil nerf? You already nerft the hell out of them and you promised more Dil weekends which have yet to come about. I got 33 toons that i am trying to upgrade and now your telling me its going to get HARDER?!?:mad::mad:
Do you know how hard it is for some one in my tie zone to find a team? I dont want to be a weekend warrior but thats the only time alot of people are on.
It would be nice if the Queues would give an Energy Credit reward. The gear rewards would usually end up being vedor trash anyway, but losing the EC source will be felt.
Sooo...The Intelligence BOffs are apparently SUPPOSED to use the Ground Intelligence abilities on their own with the player having ANY control over them?
I would expect this is still a work in progress.
Regular BOFF powers can be triggered by clicking on the icon for the power in the BOFF/Team View. There is no reason why Intelligence powers wouldn't work that way, too, except t hat they are new and they still have to work on getting them in there. I believe there was some weirdness with Bridge Officer slots in the beginning, too.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
“Delta Reputation:
Reduced the damage output of the Neutronic Torpedo. “
I think you have gone way too far on that nerf. A 5k damage drop but left it at 15 seconds recharge. It’s twice as long a recharge as a basic Q torpedo but hardly any better damage.
As a single torpedo launcher on a ship its DPS output is almost at the bottom of the list out of all the torpdeos. A basic basic Q torpedo can fire 2 shots for ever 1 Neutronic shot so Neutronic is doing around half the damage.
But I gotta say I'm a little confused...you've got all these new races from Delta Rising, but no Delta Quadrant space maps. Will they be added in later?
Love most of the updates, especially the foundry but not very impressed with the dilithium nerfing.
the elite queues are meant to be extra hard, that only a few people are going to be able to play, so you are effectively nerfing the vast majority of the population. why?
if only a few % of players will ever do them then make the rewards be valuable, or keep the dilithium the same at advanced and add something else of value. dont make the rewards valuable by kneecapping the rest of them.
edit - it was pointed out that all queues now get dilithium, where as before some did not, so i guess that is some consolation. still with the cap staying the same, i think it needs some refining.
I'm also wondering if by no queues drop gear, are they just saying at the end of the match or all of the enemies now dont drop loot. that would kill EC farming as well, which has already taken a huge hit.
Yep I've pretty much walked away already before this and now they want to make it final.
Although I can't speak for stats (I'm not familiar enough to make a comparison), the KDF does still have battle cloaks. Furthermore, those battle cloaks don't take up a console slot. I know I'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but... maybe you should wait and see what it actually does.
Besides, if all the stuff I've heard during my brief forays into the KDF, PvP and similar forums is true, then you'll still beat Starfleet...
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
The nerf of the queue rewards is silly. They're already a pretty bad time investment compared to the battlezone in terms of dilithium. No reason to make it worse.
This is aweful, again the STFs are screwed
And it totaly sux to see Intel Team stealth component nerfed. That was, for me at least, one of the reason to even get a T6 or T6 intel ship. PvPers whined and Cryptic wacked it with a nerf bat. We cant have nice things in the game, now cant we?
Only good thing is about the console's CD finnaly been reduced to 2 mins. But on the Dyson Destroyers console 3 pc set, that means that the bonus set that reduced their Cd from 3 mins to 2 mins now goes from 2 mins to 1 min?

A battle cloak isn't an essential for the way you fly a BoP, a normal cloak (or even properly boosted MES, but it doesn't have dropping cloak damage boosts) will work. You ID target -> wait for the ideal moment -> swoop in all buffs up -> GTFO before your vanquished foe's mates notice you -> cloak, await your next chance.
We already know how it will work.
But, as you asked:
better hull
better shields
better impulse mod
better crew than every BoP except B'rels
an extra ens. Boff slot
2 extra devices
better or equal inertia

hardly better? HA! its still has more then 1000 more base damage then a normal q torp, i dindt notice much of a differnce post nerf. this isn't something you spam as soon as it cools down anyway, something like this you use every 15 seconds with a torp skill. its only a problem if a torp's cooldown is longer then that.

So the max number of slots is now 58? Praise the Q!
I will get to have some intelligence bridge officers after all. I was really beginning to swet about that.
Couldn't increase the number we can buy from the c-store as well could you? Because this still isn't enough for all the builds I run.
64 would be good.
No Fleet Guramba?
Excellent power changes.
Queued events drop no gear? So I assume you're removing the need for EC from Gear upgrades, rep gear, fleet upgrades, etc?

I would love to know if there's a plan in the works for us to buy BOff slots so we can extend the numbers beyond 54.
Does this mean that we can upgrade our Captains in the Specialization tab without having to delete and re-upload?
YAY! Thank you!
