Having really bad issues for the past 2 days. I can connect pretty much fine but then huge lags, followed by server not responding for 30 seconds at a time, and tonight a lot of disconnects.

I live in the Philadelphia area, use Comcast/Xfinity

I live in New Orleans on cox and have had the exact same issues. First time in a very long time I have had anything like this happen.

Been having "Server Not Responding" for the past couple of days more and more, but now getting disconnected from the server every few minutes. Nothing like this has happened to me since the launch 4.5 years ago. This is not a connection issue on my end. Has gotten worse since server maintenance this morning... :)

It's not just me - most of my fleeties and teammates from opposite sides of the globe on at the moment are experiencing frequent DCs and lagwaves.

Which tells me it's serverside or Cogent.

I'm also having this problem, I've been having constant disconnects latency spikes and server not responding messages over the last few days. Running a tracert I'm seeing bad packet loss within the network that is hosting the servers.

In Yuma, Arizona and experiencing rampant lag and disconnects across all my characters. It is not on my end. Diablo 3 and all my other online games are functioning perfectly. This is a server end problem and if you read any chat channel in game you will notice that everyone is experiencing the problem. Game is unplayable in current state. Please fix so we can get back to enjoying the game.

more importantly, where are cryptic's server farms housed, and are they subject to being exposed to either wildfires or flash floods?

I tell you why the servers are wonky.. The borg queen is ticked because Cryptic/Perfect world did not hire Kate Mulgrew aka Captain Janeway to be in Delta rising so she is infecting the servers with a modified virus as a hostage situation

if i remember correctly the server farm where the game servers reside is on the east coast near Boston, which is in the middle of the Cogent backbone .
i could be remembering that wrong .

Los Angeles here, the game started having connectivity issues for me last night, but today it's been nearly unplayable.

Constant lag, server timeout messages, and disconnections.

I started playing about a month ago, I haven't had a single problem worth mentioning until last night through today.

I do not appear to have connectivity issues with any other program or service.

What good is an event weekend if you can't play it because the server is fcked?

And why has no dev or support guy given word on this yet?

Do not try to pin this on us. Our fleet is coming from all over the world and everyone is having problems since a few days ago.

If you do this at work then you know that ISP routes are different depending on lots of factors and since this forum isn't flooded with server down threads it means it's isolated and needs more details.

But you work in a troubleshooting job so I suppose what I just said you already know ;)

I would wait to make sure...

Please, get our EU2-Proxy working again, so I don't need to use the crappy connection to the main-server anymore:

    Hi,

major disconnects and server not responding here from the UK, I have done some in-depth investigations and it seems one of the devices is malfunctioning. This is an intermittent issue with it faulting for a while, then working fine for a while.

IP of faulting hardware is :- 154.54.46.134 (node name - te3-4.ccr01.bos06.atlas.cogentco.com)
