For the last couple of days i've noticed a lot of disconnects and server not responding, Now I can not even log onto my characters/game. Think its time for some server maintenance.
Me neither. Queue started acting up. And when I wanted to relog, I couldn't any more.
Login Server appears to be down. For a moment there, I couldn't even navigate the forums, making me wonder if there was a problem on my computer. Good to know its not here.
Same here. In my case, I was trying to post an item to the exchange and it wouldn't take -- had plenty of exchange slots left. Then I tried to move a stack of deuterium onto my ship to top off the supply, and that wouldn't take either.
I thought it was just a glitch confined to me (it persisted a few minutes), so I logged out and back in. As with all of you, it hangs after account server while retrieving character list: Login_2 Timeout.
It's interesting, though, that while still in the game it wouldn't let me change stuff -- maybe a problem connecting to the character database? That would seem to fit the timeout when it tries to retrieve characters.
Getting the same as well... Got to retrieving characters then login2_timeout and now the server itself has gone down as I can't even connect to login server so who knows, cryptic might be on to fixing it already! *casually dreams away*
The server network in Boston is acting up again, I'm getting pings over 200 ms from them, that's why you can't get in game, and there's nothing we or Cryptic can do about it.
stostatus lists the servers as down. maybe they are changing something?
Edit: let me clarify, stostatus dot com has the gameservers listed as down, but the webservers are up, which may explain the fact that it shows up on the loader.
Main page says Server Status UP, its still green. Its okay I have my Dunkin Donuts Hot Chocolate I can survive lol.

guess I'll have to find something to play until it's fixed.
Was trying to train a Boff and no connection errors - just wouldn't take the new skill.
Logged out and now just hanging loading Character selection screen...

New error message is Connection to Login Server timeout.
