    I bet that someone was getting coffee and donuts, and tripped over a power cord while hollering at someone.

    I'd definitely pay to see THAT video.

    I'm out of the game for just a week due to real life and this happens?

    Server just got nerfed.
    It is through repetition that we learn our weakness.
    A master with a stone is better than a novice with a sword.
    Has damage got out of control?

    It isn't instant. Someone has to verify that the servers are down for an extended period of time, and that they cannot diagnose the issue right away and give us information. Thus, there might be a few minutes before an actual "server down" bar is activated.

    Just post in the existing one, like everybody else does. Or better yet, don't. Cryptic is aware and working on it.

    I made that mistake once, now i have so many tribbles that I don't even NEED a warp core, it's a beautiful thing! :cool:

    I started getting the character swap, load in errors around midnight last night. Seems Cryptic forgot to pay their kickback to Cogentco again for bandwidth.

    The server was up and running fine until i went out just after 9am. When I went to log in it would not connect and kept timing out. I restarted the computer and tried logging in again only to find a message saying server is down. I hope that if this takes a while to sort that the bonus dyson sphere event will run for longer to compensate

    Man I started downloading ARC when this happened, so is this an omen that I should not install Arc? Just in case I stopped the download. You don't want to mess with lady luck.

    encountered this about 7:30ish, and promptly imitated a sailor fresh from day 1 at port while searching google.

    happened upon this godsend from some genius on the 106th fleet http://stostatus.com/ which has assauged my fears that something in my game went and shot itself..or worse my computer was fixing to do so.

    then I checked the forums and then the front page. guess I'll go pop a movie in as this appears to not be a quick fix.
    Murphy's laws:
