Stuck here, then timeout. Anyone else?

    Yeah. Same prpblem here. Was transferring maps when I got a SNR on the loading screen. Force closed the game and reloaded; stuck at retrieving character list followed by a "login2_timout error". :(

    Good, well not good we are all stuck but good I am not alone in this, its the worst feeling when you think Oh No its just me, noone else. Hopefully its only temporary,I will try to update this if I have a successful log in.

    omg me too!

    says Retrieving Characters for a minute or two then reads...
    Login2_Timeout

    tried resetting everything, but sto refuses to work! :confused:

    For the last couple of days i've noticed a lot of disconnects and server not responding, Now I can not even log onto my characters/game. Think its time for some server maintenance.

    So, I got a Server Not Responding and was disconnected. I logged back in, and it went to the Retrieving Character List thingy. It stayed there forever, and finally kicked me back to the login and said Could Not Retrieve Character List. Please Contact Support. I tried again, and it did the same thing, this time saying Login_2 Please Contact Support. I closed the program and restarted, same issue.


    Handle is ayark.


    It's also not my internet I'm doing other things and they're working fine.

    Also dealing with this. Hope it gets resolved soon, as I know I've got Doffs just sitting around doing nothing right now and we can't have that.

    I currently cannot get past "Retrieving List of Characters"

    ok..I did a random enemy encounter to test a change I'd made to my weapons loadouts on my starship, and exited, got a server not responding error..and ended up closing the game client manually after 3 minutes.

    now..I cannot get back in, I'm stuck in the retrieving list of characters screen, which times out and promptly dumps me to the in game login screen.

    I have tried rebooting my computer, resetting my network hardware, and a few mundane things like clearing my temp files.
    Murphy's laws:
    1- Murphy’s Law tells us that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
    2- And anything that does go wrong will get progressively worse.
    3- And if you survive the first two laws it’s time to panic.

    Started about 10-15 mins ago. Swapped characters, timed out. Tried to repeatedly reconnect, got a login2 error.

    stostatus lists the servers as down. maybe they are changing something?

    Edit: let me clarify, stostatus dot com has the gameservers listed as down, but the webservers are up, which may explain the fact that it shows up on the loader.
