And like Kenny, the server is killed again.

"Sto: Oh my god! They killed the server!
    Kirk: Youbas... tards!"

"Sto: Oh my god! They killed the server!
    Kor: You petaQ!"

"Sto: Oh my god! They killed the server!
Worf: Find him and revive him!"

"Sto: Oh my god! They killed the server!
    Borg: Server is irrelevant."

"Sto: Oh my god! They killed the server!
    Morn: ..."

Average STO player: MOM, THEY DID IT AGAIN!!
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

...Jeopardy music plays while the technical difficulties screen is up...

Meanwhile, someone in the back of the forum started to sing a dubstep'd version of the doom sing,
    • Kurland won't shut up about being Kurland.,
    • The borg are doing a hard core version of the robot while listening to techno,
    • Tribbles managed to knock over the replicator and now are jumping up and down on it in triumphant glee...
    • club 47 on ESD is haveing a Panic at the Disco
    • And the voth are doing the Thriller dance in their mech siuts...huh, never thought they were THAT flexible

One might could say bordom and imaginative creativity go hand in hand..
    The hamster will RULE ALLL....

    Mwahahahahahahaha

We didn't kill enough Voth this weekend. All the Omega molecules stolen by them exploded and now subspace ruptures prevent a stable connection to the server.

I know cryptic is aware that sto is not working, but nothing is posted on the forums about it. I wonder what happened? did someone at cryptic accidentally flip a switch and caused black out? did storm mess up engines and servers? did company forget to pay for servers? speculation running wild.

How do you know this? Where are you getting this information? Whose side are you on?
    "So my fun is wrong?"

No. Your fun makes everyone else's fun wrong by default.

There is DDoS attack happening in APB: Reloaded. Perhaps STO servers are down for the same reason.

Compensation for downtime will never happen. How about compensation for the week and a half the event calendar was broken. Nothing on that either.

I thought the milliom dilithium demand made it sarcastic enough.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    Sorry to bust your bubble.

I am a monthly subscriber and others are lifetime subscribers. Add on the people that play for free but spend in the Z-store.

We all deserve compensation for downtime simply for the fact that we are all paying customers. We are not getting what we pay for.

It is not just the perks that come with the subscription or the items from the store. Our money pays for the game maintenance and development. Maintenance and development means keeping the game online and giving us new content plus fixing bugs which they dont do much of.

Put like this you go to service station to get oil change and they only put 3 quarts of oil in your car. Then, You seize the engine because they didn't tighten the drain plug and all the oil leaked out. You are entitled to compensation because the service station blew your engine.

Same scenario here we are entitled to compensation because they are not giving us the product we paid for.

    Oh please....

    1) I am a lifer

    2) Was a subscriber for many moons before chunking down for the LTS

    3) I spend Zen every month....

You do get what you paid for... let us know if you sign in and whatever dodad you bought isn't on your account. THATS not getting what you paid for. Its a temporary outtage... Maybe you should reread the TOS and EULA again before you start demanding compensation... the sense of entitlement is strong with this one.
