A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
any special traits or other interesting things on it?
Two that are notable: Bio-Organic Sedative, and Suspended Animation.
BOS is a slow/stun ability, and the Suspended Animation is the self-revive that the Voth can do.

Oooh sound cool. Any space traits?
Got a cat? Have 10 minutes to help someone make the best degree dissertation of all time?
Then please fill out my dissertation survey on feline attachment, it'd be a massive help (-:
Lame. Sounds like the android special trait and the borg neural blast. What's with all the hate for space traits?
My guess would be, space traits have more potential to unbalance game since you use space BOFFs always when flying ship - where as ground BOFFs are generally stand-ins for human players when you don't have full group. And human players will generally outperform BOFFs, even traited ones.
Well, I hope I can somehow transfer him to an alt, because the character that's getting to tier 5 has no use for him.
Heh. The new ship was of course another gambling reward.

That ship sailed awhile ago with the Romulan and Reman boffs.
I have been a lifetime subscriber since pre-order and was a fairly frequent poster before the game came out, while Cryptic was soliciting feedback, but apparently, since this is my first post in a few years (after the game has been sold) I no longer have new post privileges, so I am replying to this one, but it seems related.
Cryptic: you never ever break the cardinal rule in video games: "Once you giveth, never taketh away" and for all the smoke screens with the power buffs to the upcoming "trait/reputation" system, it's just a mask for taking away most of the powers many people have worked so hard for.
What is the point of rewards, if you eventually dumb them down to cater to noobs? You may think you will encourage more people to play, but you're just shooting yourself in the foot and alienating what's left of your community.
It started when I looked forward to getting my Dyson Tier V rep power, which was supposed to be a space power - +100 all damage resistance chance up to 3 times possible spec. I was so excited about this. Finally! Escorts would no longer blow up every few seconds. At least they had a chance if you put in the time, effort, and money, and I ground this for so long.
A few days ago I finally get this, but wait, it's now a useless ground power! Who even does ground play anymore. Most people, when they finished the few joke quests only like space combat. This was true in pre-order. It is true now. So you, you scr**** us.... yes you did.
This is the first time I lost my cool at this game and let some poor support technician have it.
And now, you're scr***** us some more with the upcoming changes to the rep system...
Yes, take all the powers away.... Make most of them meaningless... really wise....
I remember a time when there were a zillion "twink" guilds in WoW because people so enjoyed putting the time and effort making their little over-powered sub-max-level toons.
Then Blizzard gave us the deathknight hero class... just a ruse like you did with the reputation powers... which they kept nerfing and nerfing until it was pretty much meaningless...and then they nerfed all the other classes some more... until all game play seemed similar and it was just one bland, amorphous soup.
But wait! They lost millions of players. Surely, that's not going to happen here.
I know I'm just wasting my key strokes here in the wind (same way I did after my beta previews for SWTOR, which were so vehemently denied on the forums by company employees), but at least you won't be able to say nobody told you so.
Have you people no imagination? There are so many other ways to address balance issues (which should not even be a concern for all of the above; people want inequality! whole reason to play ). Hell, give the nubs sub-normal content and make gear scores for elite (with the option for the highest ranked player or players who meet the minimum score to vote on whether to allow noobs in if there aren't enough quality players).
This doesn't really concern me as I will continue playing until I find something better, space oriented.
But you have really disappointed me this day Cryptic and I'm sure many other people and you had such bright prospects after the Romulan expansion where your employees finally learned to write (aside from the story ending which was cheese).
Again, ask yourself why people play at all, aside from some vague nostalgia for the yester-years of Star Trek and fun space combat? Do you think people enjoy grinding the same combat over and over again? The whole point is inequality and being better than everybody else! Yes, it's a disease, but it's a fun one in moderation and every player gets it eventually or they quit.
Have a nice day.... not.
P.S. Not sure why I'm an Ensign since I had like 3 ranks on the old forums before the sale. Nice!

Because you need to go back to allied space and fly out to the minefield to rescue the guy.
LTS, here since...when did this game launch again?
