Easy fix nerf the turn rate to 4. The thing is so huge it should have a terrible time turning anyway and that'll encourage use of the 3 pc set for the decloak turn rate boost to counteract it.
and what happen if you dont have all 3 console ???? a real battle cloak are integrated into the ship the voth battle cloak is a gimmick and nothing more than a gimmick sooner some see this the QQing can stop
1 Commander Eng / 1 Ltd. Com Universal
5 Eng consoles
45k Hull
1.2 Shield modifier
Indistructible Repair ships that fully restore you
and a battle cloak if that's still not enough to survive
And now imagine that ship on an a2b Engineer incl. miracle worker and grace under fire.
So 1 every 250 or 2500 boxes...but remember, that isn't exactly a guarantee.
Nope. Your math is incorrect because each roll is independent. I think it is closer to this
1- (1 - 0.04)^x = .5 where x is the number of open boxes and .5 is 50% chance of getting the ship. You can type this into Wolfram Alpha.
Safe to say that you need hundreds of open boxes ON AVERAGE to have a 50 _ 50 chance of getting and thousands to have 99% chance of getting it.
Obviously it is random so you could get it 5 tries or it. Or it could take 5000.
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censored, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
A normal lock box's chance is .5%. Given that a master key is 125 zen and a doff pack is 275 zen, the chances of getting the Bulwark (or JHAS, depending which is being given away) is 1.1%. That means that, on average, you'd need to open about 90 of them (just to meet the mathematical average), which is $247.50 USD. Let's say that each doff pack goes for only 4M ec on the exchange. Even at that price, 90 packs is 360M ec.
It's current going price is 6.5M, making you 585M ec if you sold them all.

tldr: if you want a specific item from a lockbox you should sell the keys and buy the item, only play lockboxes if you're ok with getting ALL the prizes.

EDIT - and what happened to the voth ship is a giant ***** thread?
Removed for violating the tos. So you might wanna change that post.

*shrugs* it was a perfectly fair criticism of the artwork, the only Voth ship true to the voyager episode is the palisade, the bastion and bulwark are supposed to be based off the city ship but the extra appendages ruin the effect
imo the voth ships on the show looked organic and sto's designs are techno futuristic
I honestly feel sorry for you. Cryptic are really wrecking peoples' lives you know.
This poor guy probably gave up a lot to lose $200 in one sitting, especially on Gambling...
Sounds like poor decision-making is wrecking people's lives to me, unless you have evidence that Cryptic puts a gun to people's heads and demands they spend that money or be shot.
No thank you. Why would I want to torture myself with the TRIBBLE that is Voyager? But my memory is fine. THE CITY SHIP DOES NOT CLOAK.
Sir you have crossed the line. VOY was the best series out of the 5, if not a tie with TNG. The Mexican klingon and wtf-ian chef just dragged the show down. Those were two god-awful roles.

Mexican Klingon? Man I knew janeway wasn't entirely human!

It's one thing to like or dislike a series, but it's another to point out an ethnicity to determine why you don't like a series.
Come on, I take it you'd only be happy with a pasty all-Anglo Saxon cast? You may even call it "normal" or something equally funny?
Scream "PC" or whatever all you want, but this post was eye-rollingly bad.

It's not about ethnicity. It's just the character. Could've been an aryan for all I care, still would've been as bad. Also how am I pointing out that I dislikes series? Voyager was my favorite.

As is the case with all gambling packs, its better if you just sell the means to open the pack or in this case the doff pack itself on the exchange and use the EC you make to buy what you want.

Yes, but why single B'elanna torres out as a "Mexican Klingon"? If you wanted to say her character was bad, why bring her ethnicity into it? It was hardly her defining trait as a character on Voyager (compared to, say, Chakotay as "the native american one"), after all.
Do you identify Jean-Luc Picard as "the Anglo-Franco-man"?

What good is a ship with OP survivability when it can't DPS?
The Bulwark is OP, but not where it counts. Useless thread.
R.I.P
How rare is rare supposed to be, again?
Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!

My PvE/PvP hybrid skill tree
but you could open 1 and get 1 or open a thousand and get nothing. when the odds are that low they are almost meaningless.
Thank you for supporting Cryptic, and STO!

Wish I had $200 to waste on gambling!
10 master keys are 956 right now...
so 200 keys going for, lets say, 1.3M each on exchange... 260M EC.
No Bulwark but you got a TRIBBLE-load of doffs and lobi, right?
