Well the "names" of the ship are incidental to their actual identity. Consider that the official designation is that all Romulan (large) ships are "Warbirds". Even though some of the warbirds resemble escorts or cruisers or science ships in capability.

No Romulan Warbird received Cruiser Commands, even if is big and turns slowly.

You can. Just run the Chel Grett project instead of the Plesh Brek project.

If you have Photos saved from last year and/or are willing to spend (possibly a lot) of Lobi, you can get both ships this year.

Ah so there are 2, is it possible to get both ?

A slow ship like a cruiser isn't going to be able to do a damn thing about it, not when the aggressor gets to pick the attack vector and has twice the turn rate to stay there as long as they like.
What about if they do this? My experience is that people get off your butt real fast when they catch a face full of silent but deadly...

I'Changing bridges is working fine -- I just tested changing bridges on 2 of my Klingon and Federation characters. Are you hitting the "purchase" button before exiting the ship tailor, and not just "save"? Have you tried changing your other characters' bridges?
Yes. I've tried on multiple ones, across multiple accounts: You can select the bridge, and hit Purchase, but the EC will not be deducted and the change will not take place. When you return to the tailor, or attempt to visit the bridge, the same one will still be there. Pushing "Save" wouldn't even take you out of the tailor. And I don't remember that button really working since the corresponding "load" functionality hasn't really worked either, but I haven't tried that lately.

It will be the only option for the Plesh Brek, but we didn't want to take away the faction options from the Chel Grett as players had access to them already.

    Cheers,

    Brandon =/\=

While i was certain the Chel Grett would not loose the options of a factional bridge, the Breen Plesh Brek Heavy Raider having exactly 0 options is a bit of a surprise. Especially as the ship's stats practically scream adaptability/customization with regard to its load-out of BOffs and Consoles.

The Chel Gretts i've launched (uncrated) will most likely keep their factional bridges, only use the Breen Bridge on the ones yet to be busted out of their crates. Will Bridges on the Chel Grett have the same access your Account Shared Bank, move into a Small Craft, and contact different ship departments for Duty Officer Assignments as the Plesh Brek?
    = = = = = =

Most of the characters that got the Chel Grett last year will be getting the Plesh Brek this year. Some of my newest chars whil be getting the Plesh Brek and not the Chel Grett even though they are Sci not Tac.

My Forecast for ships I very much want
    - - - - - -

If/When CBS approves the the Keldon and/or Hedeki-class Cardassian Ships, they will not be free. The Keldon is most likely to come in two (2) versions: one in a Lock Box and one in the Lobi Store. The Hideki is most likely to be a C/Z-Store Only item, but i cannot rule out the possibility of a Fleet version. Both Hedekis would be Endgame (Lv 50) ships.

    small craft
    = = = = = =

Hasn't PWE realised yet how they are not merely hadicapping players with the existing system (small craft using the same slots as Starships) but crippling their own profits? Small craft are carried by Starships; they do not use the same berths made for Starships. But that isn't an argument PWE wants to hear.

    This is.

Having a Shuttlebay for Small Craft so the shuttles, yachts, fighters etc do not use Starship Slots encourages getting more ships. A Shuttlebay with 6 craft capacity at Tier 1, 8 craft at Tier 2, 10 at T3, 12 at T4 and 14 at T5 would greatly facilitate purchases of small craft from the C/Z-Store. I learned this first-hand with the recent Ship Sale. It took me a couple days' worth of head-scratching to make my decisions. I was wrestling with Starship costs/savings vs. Ship Slots vs. small craft. The small craft lost.

If Ship Slots were not an issue for small craft, i'd be buying almost every small craft to come out. Just saying. These are the choices the cash-strapped gamers must make, but even among the more affluent members of the community, many share this reasoning or something similar.

PS - I fully support a T6 Nova, fixing the Nova skins. I am also rooting for a T6 Science Cruiser, that can use Nova/Rhode Island skins.
T6 Nova/Rhode Island, T6 Oberth & T6 Constellation are needed. Also needed a T6 Science Cruiser, that can wear any Science or Cruiser skin.

We have no plans to re-classify any existing Federation or Romulan ships as Raiders at this time. We also are not currently working on any Starfleet or Romulan Raiders. The new Raider mechanic will be exclusive to the Breen Raider at launch, and after testing and tuning it with this ship, we anticipate expanding it to all KDF Raiders in the near future.WITH ALL FEDS AND ROMS HAVE I THINK KDF SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONES TO GET THIS

Or a good set of deadly mines, or some tetryon gas.....

As you have pointed out, options for defenses exist and Im sure some smart players will think of more in the future.
Flankng will be a good buff for raiders but its hardly gonna be OP.
    Leonard Nimoy, Spock.....:(

I find the very concept of flanking in a 3D environment laughable. Just my two cents.

Finnally getting a breen bridge! That's nice to have! Now is this just the bridge or does that include the corridors as well?

I really would like to see a ship shuttle bay and a brig in Federation ships. And you can't forget the holodeck!

Now about those breen ships...Nice work. I'm looking forward to getting one.

And your two cents would make sense if every ship in the game was a sphere with all its vital components tucked neatly away in its core. However, every ship has a discernible aft and forward section, and most ships weapons systems are concentrated towards the front, with most of the vital and vulnerable systems to the aft or sides, such as impulse engines and warp engines. There is a reason why attacks from the aft were so devastating in the movies and the TV series.
