    Man that ship is so similar to the FAE (except hull and rear weapon slot) that I may actually have to take it for a spin. o.o


    Also apparently flanking means "bonus damage from behind"

    So like a backstab, or whatnot.

    Misnomer perhaps, but i like it.

    Flanking damage in space huh? Is this the direction you're planning on heading(ish) with other raider-class ships?

    At least it's somewhat usefull for PvP even though it has 4/2 weapons....WAIT :mad: No it's another useless ESCORT "The flanking bonus is DRASTICALLY REDUCED against players"
    I honestly don't see a point playing the winter event. Two new coats that look ugly, and new PvE event and a USELESS ESCORT!

    Whoever guessed flanking was correct this will be interesting to see the bonus play out also the set bonus is awesome. EDITED re-read blog post answered my question.

    I like it,

    I also like that there was no mention of Feddie ships getting the flanking feature. :) .. that was my favorite part actually.

    Isn't it missing a Weapon slot? 4/2 seems kinda low, should be 4/3 shouldn't it?

    Looks like the Subspace Jumper console will be almost mandatory on this for the alpha strike.

    Could the Aquarius and Fleet Aquarius receive this "Improved Flanking" in the future as well? In its current state the ship is terribly underpowered and such buff would surely make it at least somewhat more desirable. It would also be a great opportunity to give the Fed's their pseudo-raider without having to create a brand new ship. And Fleet Aquarius needs a buff one way or another. Think about it, Cryptic.

    That's standard for Raiders. Just look at what Birds-of-Prey have.

    We have no plans to re-classify any existing Federation or Romulan ships as Raiders at this time. We also are not currently working on any Starfleet or Romulan Raiders. The new Raider mechanic will be exclusive to the Breen Raider at launch, and after testing and tuning it with this ship, we anticipate expanding it to all KDF Raiders in the near future.

    I bet its half. Which in the grand scheme of things, is actually extremely potent. +12.5 percent damage to a decloak alpha strike. yesplz

    Brandon: Can you pass along this feedback please:

    Why the 25% for KDF raiders? The Presh has 5 tactical consoles, kdf raiders have at best 4 (F-Hohsus) and averagely 3 (B'rel, etc). They could use the 33% a lot more.

    Read very carefully. Hawk has flat out said this is for bops and bops only. You can has on this breen ship that cant cloak though, thats ok. You cannot has decloak alpha strike to go with it >=]

    Hmmm....low BoP hull and low BoP shield mod but no cloak. Kinda rough. I'm going for the Chel Grett.

    Because the Plesh has all the penalties of bops without battle cloak so it needs an additional boost.

    Getting behind an enemy ship with three dimensional sensors to do extra damage doesn't really make any sense to me. I suppose it's about as ridiculouse as a communications array boosting shields. I like the attempts to balance the game but I feel like they could be more well thought out.

    I kinda knew it would be flanking. I'll bet the reduced damage for PvP may fall around to 10-15%. Maybe 20%.

    ships turning is not very high, it wont match other escorts. this ship is not very appealing. going for the chel grett.
