Server instability issues? I got an idea, lets just roll out an open beta for the FIRST expansion in three years, Im sure our servers which already can't handle the current traffic will handle MOAR customers just fine!
On a side note I signed up for something scrolls Online closed beta today, if Im going to play a game thats released before its ready, it might as well be actually labelled BETA
I have this issue right now, butt it's telling me on MMO servers that all servers are online. Last night it was the same, butt then the servers actually were down. So ... I installed STO in April 2013 from scratch, and now the launcher is already outdated and not updating itself apparently? Where do I get the final version of the launcher?

lol it patched me 4,8gb patch and when get out of game it need to do 10gb patch and tribble needs 5,1gb and i patch it y day to last version:eek: loool
LOL PLEASE PWE get it right , now everytime I close the game it tries to update but will not let me , it starts to download maybe getting to about a Mb then stops, you got to much stair on your servers or something is about to crash

Same for me ... Just loads something for like 1 minute max and then abruptly the window closes and thats it
this problem is just like what I have and it has happened before , some say it's my isp while I say if that is so how come others have this issue also ?

Because it's easier to blame others than to put forth the effort to fix a problem. Irresponsible and self-sabotaging but easier.

For several days I've been starting Arc to play but couldn't get past the patching. Not downloading, not opening.. Weird. I uninstalled Arc and tried Steam. I thought maybe my new Windows' firewall is the problem, or Arc. I unmarked all STO folders and files from "read only" as someone advised me that maybe they are marked "read only" and thus can't be changed. Unmarking them didn't change a thing. I got this Error connecting to Patch Server message. What can I do about it?..
I was playing, yesterday, without any problems but now I can't login anymore. When I run STO, It opens a window named Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate, it says:
"Trying to update the launcher.
Please be patient.
Tried connecting 1 time."
It takes some minutes, then I get an error window " Patcher error", saying "The patchclient got a message while it was in a state with no response function."
I tried several times but somehow It doesnt update my game client.
Some mmorpg has a manual update patch, I wonder if STO has it too, if doesnt, it would be nice having it too.
It will avoid problems to players, specially just after an update, like now.

PS: I already tested my Internet Connection, trhoughput, latency, everything is like yesterday, except my STO game.
well mines is worse i had to reinstall arc and star trek online twice this is the second time :mad: i love this game its awesome but i cant play anymore same thing 4 times launcher update and all of a sudden BOOM here comes the annoying error im in france and it worked last week every day it worked and on this laptop windows 8.1 guys give me the best help for this

Mine stop at 47% On one of my Computers. Why did this do it only on 1 but not the other. Bigger question why did this do it in the first place.

Would it help, if I uninstal STO, download latest instalation file from server and reinstal?
Will I lost some game data or not? This's my firt MMO.
