Ugh... the entire community flipping out that they would have to wait till T5 to get their stuff.
I think what people are focusing on is the amount of DL that is coming out vs the omega marks. Forget the DL, that seems like a lot of marks, but is it really? Does anyone know how many marks tier 4 and 5 projects as well as end game gear will eat up?

And Dilithium conversion also seems a lot short changed.
I'm sure you're 'happy' that you released the conversion box but you haven't really told us the actual conversion rates for each unit and how you came to your calculations.

Proto tech and salvage should be 1 piece = 10 neural processors!
You can copy your character over multiple times. As long as you have a free character slot on Tribble. (Holodeck characters slots != slots in Tribble) Don't delet the character you are using to test out the new stuff. But remove an old character if you need to.

I sincerely hope you cash out before they decide to lock the store before s7 hits. And holy **** I thought I was addicted to stfs.
Maybe I've just lost the plot or I can't understand this multi-layered currency system, but surely being generous with the Omega Marks but stingy with the BNPs is counterproductive? If you have more than enough Marks but need BNPs to finish a project/buy something, why bother having the Marks when you'll need to run the same missions that give them anyway?

The Omega Conversion crates rate is daylight robbery. :mad: It is the Marks to Dilithium rate all over again, I thought they said they would learn from their mistakes! They haven?t even got the guts to tell us the rate. You don?t even get any Omega Marks before Tier 3, so you have to grind STF's to unlock the box, really nice another slap in the face.:mad:
For a start we are being seriously short change, but I think it?s Cryptic plan to keep players grinding in the game and take away stuff they have already earned. Who wants to bet in another 12 months time they will change it again, saying something like we want to simplify the system.
Looks like I'm better off converting most of my EDC and Salvage to Dilithium now.
At least there?s that other game going F2P real soon, I might as well check it out now, I did buy the Collectors edition of the game. :P

Did a quick maths with just EDC and Salvage converted into Dilithium.
From Character 1
EDC to Dilithium 75,801
From crate 32,000
So I'm only getting 43% from what I could get now
Form Character 2
EDC to Dilithium 4,224
From crate 4,000
So I'm getting 95% from what I could get now.
This is the kick in the nuts.
From Character 1
EDC and Salvage to Dilithium 440,073
From crate 32,000
So I'm only getting just over 7% (7.28%) from what I could get now!!!??!
So using Character 2
I converted 40 EDC to Dilithium, which I got 4,224 and bin the 8 EDC

With 8 less EDC, 1 less ProtoSalvage, and without the Prototype Engine Tech and Rare salvages, I still had the same.
I was expecting to get ripped off. Doesn't surprise me. However I would like to know exactly how much is required to reach each tier. That's the very least they should give us.

This is your idea of a "generous" conversion Cryptic? Seriously? Your robbing people out of hundreds of thousands of dilithium for a handful of marks that won't take more than a couple days to earn.
I think it would be wise to give anyone who got STF tokens converted a veteran boff token as appretiation for their effort before this change.
