    Posts have. You can ask Darren_Kitlor aboutt hat, or AngelSilhouette. ;) Both tend to create big posts collecting information from various sources.

    The forum as a whole certainly not, and I haven't seen one implemented for threads yet. I think vBulletin can handly any thread length in theory, but it creates a certain server load. Cryptic having to hold servers for two MMOs probably has less issues with that.

    Yeah, I can confirm, the limit is 11k characters per post. My Ship Power Calculator Post is at that limit now :rolleyes:

    Trek17, if you think you're going to even come close to the limit, I'd recommend you go ahead and "reserve" the next couple posts in your thread when you create it. I wish I had. :p

    Yeah, I can confirm, the limit is 11k characters per post. My Ship Power Calculator Post is at that limit now :rolleyes:

    Trek17, if you think you're going to even come close to the limit, I'd recommend you go ahead and "reserve" the next couple posts in your thread when you create it. I wish I had. :p

    There seems to be several differences between the ship tier database at ESD and your chart. A few that I've noticed:
    * Exploration Cruiser has turn rate of 6 (chart says 5)
    * Assault Cruiser has turn rate of 7 (chart says 6)
    * Star Cruiser has turn rate of 7 (chart says 6)

    Hey Everyone! I made alot of changes on the back end, and if anyone sees anything a little strange, let me know.
    There seems to be several differences between the ship tier database at ESD and your chart. A few that I've noticed:
    * Exploration Cruiser has turn rate of 6 (chart says 5)
    * Assault Cruiser has turn rate of 7 (chart says 6)
    * Star Cruiser has turn rate of 7 (chart says 6)

    Thx for the info. This should be corrected on the new version (v5.8). I happened to look on the thread before uploading it & got to fix those right beforehand.

    Unfortunately, I forgot to go over my 'Known Issues' section, so I missed some fixes I've been meaning to address... Like the +5wep for the NX.... In light of this, I think everyone will appreciate the new Shuttlecraft section (even if the Equippable Weapons section was rushed - anyone verify these are the only ones equippable?)

    Anywho, I'll be updating throughout the week and into the weekend, so leave any feedback on fixes / colors / placement whateva!

    Btw, your Delta flyer shows an ensign tactical Bridge Officer, but it should be a science officer.

    Also, while the Delta Flyer is currently C-store exclusive, there will be an in-game method, via crafting daily.

    I wasn't sure that they were going to add an in-game method. There was rumors, so I figured I would use the gold placeholder until it was released. Thx for the head's up! I've gone back and added the purple bkg & the rest of the angles, now that the ship is in the c-store. Also, corrected that BO to SCI. Thx again. Corrected & uploaded on FED version 5.9

    nice changes spidermitch :) they're subtle, but the overall look is SO much better :D

    and if you're not already aware of the upcoming price changes, take a look at this thread: http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=200073
    this way, you'll need to change the colors of the C-Store-only items soon :) keep up the great work! :D

    Well thanks so much! I think it's finally starting to come together nicely, myself. :)
    I didn't know they were planning to make everything have alternate means. Oh well. Any idea when it goes live?

    well spidermitch, since the price changes aren't in today's patch notes (although i'm surprised that they're coming so soon :)), you won't have to worry about that just yet. however, there are a bunch of changes to some of the in-game ships, listed below from the release notes:

    Gorn Varanus Science Ship = increased HP (didn't say by how much, sadly), turn rate is now 11 instead of 9
    Deep Space Science Vessel = turn rate now 11 instead of 9
    Vo'Quv Carrier = turn rate now 5 instead of 4
    Nebula Science Vessel (Tier 3) = HP increased to 20,000/ Adv. Nebula Science Vessel (Tier 5) = HP increased to 31,500

    happy to help out :D (but i'm wondering if the Tier 3 Nebula HP increase has a typo, as it already has 22,000 HP according to your chart)

    D'Kyr Science Vessel updates, as it should be on live server today:

    * BOff Seating: Lt Tactical Station; LC Engineering Station; En Science Station;Lt Science Station; Cm Science Station.
    * Consoles: 4 Sci; 2 Eng; 2 Tact
    * Removed Aux penalty from Vulcan ship when launchihg D'Kyr Support Craft.
    * Launching the D'Kyr support craft now only cost 25 crew.
    * Base Turn Rate 10
    * Purchase of Vulcan D'Kyr, via C-Store or In-Game, will allow you to claim a free D'Kry support Craft Shuttle at the in-game shuttle store.

    The Starter Escort should be Light Escort and the Starter Cruiser should be Constitution Cruiser, otherwise they both look awesome.

    I love your continued updates to these charts, SpiderMitch! Awesome work all around!

    Here's a few stats for the new Vulcan Tal'Kyr Support Craft (I noticed you have it as a WiP; these figures are from the shuttle office on ESD as of yesterday (02.10.11)):

    Impulse Modifier: 0.15
    Turn Rate: 15 deg/sec
    Inertia: (I don't have this one; sorry)
    Hull (Base): 6,500
    Device Slots: 2 (you have it as 1)

    Also, in addition to the SIF Transfer ability, it also has +10% Power to Shields.

    I should note that all shuttles come with weapons/equipment that scales to your level. That's not unique to the Tal'kyr.

    I was in the process of quoting your post, Cuatela, when you changed it (I must have had an old version of the thread in my tab; I normally keep about 10 or so open that I reload periodically). I just want to say that it was a nice catch on the Tal'Kyr's Console Upgrades. It should have 2 Science, and 1 Engineering, not 1 Tactical.

    Again, nice catch; I didn't even notice it, heh.

    First off, thanks for all the support fellas! This little idea of a shipchart I had back in June 2010 has become a monster: it often consumes my free time and cuts into my STO time...     Got it! Updated on v6.3 & upped. Didn't know about the +10% shields, so good catch & thx mang.

    After reading your post, I saw what I had done: I had added the turret stuff at the bottom because I read it off the C-store... What I realized, however, is that my charts do not show what weps/equipment are given out with the ships when you buy them (why would it, since you usually replace all those weps/equip anyway on normal ships)... but on shuttles, one may want to keep the 360 degree Standard Issue-S Phaser that comes with the Type-8 SC. So I decided while not listing all equipment that comes with each Shuttlecraft, I would put a blurb at the front of the row saying "These guys come stock with Issue-S, which scale with your level. oh, and by the way, Issue-S Beam Banks have a 360 degree arc."

    This way, it'll cover any energy types they decide to put on the new upcoming fighters... Unless the Issue-S Disruptor has a 9500 degree arc or some strange thing... :rolleyes:

    Anywho, thanks for drawing my attention in that direction. Hopefully it'll help people who glance at the chart before going to do the Vault. Because I really liked the 360 assist on my tiny little Type-8 Shuttle. Nothing more satisfying that Beam Overloading on a fighter on your tail

    You certainly do update it pretty darn quickly, SpiderMitch!

    I just checked in-game on the Tal'Kyr, and it has 100 Inertia (I think all the shuttles do; at least, all the ones I checked). Also, it has an Engineering Console, and not a Tactical one.

    Also, just noticed on the NX-Class, it has a Grappler, not a Grabbler, heh.

    Hey I was curious do you override a single file every time you make an update or do you save the old versions as their own separate file?

    I only ask because i would be pretty cool to see the progression of both the ships and the quality of your map as the months went by in STO. :)

    Minor note, not sure if anyone has mentioned it or not, but I noticed for Sci vessels (Fed) you do not have the ability to equip Cannons (Single) listed.

    hey spidermitch, two small things i noticed on the Fed chart:
    on the Adv. Heavy Cruiser (Retrofit), i noticed that under the Transwarp ability at the bottom, you're missing a | in-between Psi Velorum and Iota Pavonis
    and on the TOS constition and the NX replica, i noticed that their prices (800 atari tokens) are on the bottom right, instead of the top right where they should be
    keep up the great work :D and don't forget the changes that i mentioned in my last post (which i quick replied to :))

    Voquv now had a turn rate deg of 5 instead of 4 ... it still says 4 in the current chart. :)
