I wanted to do this, but after the complaints from so many others this morning about those of us who would have been willing to pay for the ship, I am trying to do it legit. Already posed several times on Facebook, and trying the rounds with my co-workers again, next I am going to try mining through my Star Wars group.
I will have my Federation cloak, difficulty of demo --> subscriber be damned.
Though your 1 million credits is an enticing offer to encourage me to use my demo account as a paid second account, it does not really help me get MY ship now does it?

Yes, it is. Just tested it out with an alternate account I created last year.

Too bad this is a violation of the TOS and the EULA. You cant sell in game items for real currency. The person has to pay $60 US to get 1 million energy credits.

You've been saying this but the person doesn't have to pay $60 TO HIM. They get the game and the playtime.
It's like I said, "I'll pay you 10,000 EC if you go out and buy yourself a coffee." There is no trade and it isn't advertising because he isn't telling people where to buy it.
However, I WOULD add, to any new people out there, 1 million EC isn't really that much and you'll have no shortage once you get the hang of the game.
either way they will still learn how... just like the Perks on the 500 skill bonus.... am i wrong?
Well yes.
500 skill points wont help you in the long run. It just gives you a few extra skill points.
It wont let you learn the top tier skills from day 1.
Which the 1 million can. You can buy the best equipment from day 1 and thereby lessen your skills slightly.
well ya they can buy good equips but will it last to Tier 5???? i bet they will afford good equips until tier 2 or tier 3... but hey its just a game, the outside world that matters .. and money issure, im not getting any money from them... its just an reward im getting my friend.... and its not gold spamming... if
you guys know what that means... that answer is already here... People sell energy credits and they receive money. well us are we receiving money? answer that... what we get are just rewards... nothing lost on both sides...
you guys are just making problems...
but im still waiting to be corrected... and it must be Logical and technical... dont base it on a gut feeling... or beliefs i want Hard evidence

Right out of the tutorial and before the first mission the person can have a fully equipped ship. Will give them the wrong impression of the game.
Yes you can do that already if you have a main with lots of EC but then you already know the game.
But you are still in a way using their money to get something you want.
(this is the important part)

Starting off with a million credits can get you some really good bridge officers early on without making you overpowered in any way. This will also save you credits down the road, as well. Nobody is trying to rip anyone off. I enjoy this game very much as do all my friends who are already playing. I simply thought I'd reach out to newcomers who will make up their own mind about purchasing the game, and extend an offer from which we can both benefit. If they, in turn, recruit 5 of their friends (an option we didn't have at launch) then they too can get that same bonus that we are looking for.
well if the recruit perks didnt happen? and i did that.. would you complain?
and... i didnt use their money... to get sumthin, its an reward a benefit....
welll lets say u have friends, u recruited them... well they are still using money right? to buy the game?.... how would you explain that? how would it differ?
and... i didnt use their money... to get sumthin, its an reward a benefit....
You are offering in game credits for an item you can only get if someone else purchases the game with their money.
So technically speaking... You are offering them in game credits for real money.
And that part is against the TOS, EULA or whatever they call it.

what happen? cat caught your tongue ehehe peace... sorry if i offended you...
You just don't seem to understand than you are giving other people in game money so they will spend their real money.
You may not see the actual money but you sure do reap the reward which is the AGT Galaxy.
You give people fake money.
People spend real money.
You get item for the real money they spent.

Nope not long at all. LMAO
The only thing happening is that the new player wont learn about it all because they will have it easy from day 1.

Already have.
For free. Not saying they will buy the game. But they have their trials.
