You're probably right, i have not watched enough VH1 or reality TV trash to shrink my mind to your level to have the desire to give it a go.
Anywho, good luck and good night
Heh, you call that a proper come back? What's next, 'Yo mamma wear combat boots!" <LOL> Go get some sleep Sephi, maybe when you wake up you can hang with the big dogs. Until then, just keep running with your goonie pals picking on noobs; it's probably the best you can do.

Is he a goonie? He seemed more intelligent and mature than they are. Although he did seem pretty adamant in his defense of them.
Oh, he spoke more eloquently then most but the sentiments are the same. Pure hedonism; anything they do is fun, anything anyone does to stop them is bad, and noobs deserve to die for being noobs.

Well i knew he shared their the victim is to blame philosophy but I had entertained the idea that he was playing devils advocate. Mainly because he did not have a brand new account and has intelligent posts on other topics on the forum.
The most amusing thing is that most of moronswarm are unaware that it is actually led by the former leaders of BOB from eveonline lol.
Most act like sociopaths. I doubt most really care about anything except the kick they get when they hurt someone or ruin someones fun. Who "leads" them is probably secondary to that.

Those that do that are just the attention seeking children they have in the ranks, but the mnoney the swarm makes goes to BOBITES...now that is amusing considering the history.
Great thread. I actually took the time and put everybody who liked the vid, defended it or claimed that Star Trek became better after Roddenberry died on my ingame ignore list. The perceived quality has already increased by 5%.
I hope that Cryptic's reaction won't be making it impossible to invite people from the other faction to your bridge, just making something against non-consensual PvP there. I'm playing a Fed Klingon and would like to invite colleagues of the other side for a glass of bloodwine.

You should stick with milk, seriously.
But maybe some Captain will promote you to Ensign, too... just for smart remarks while on the bridge and for reversing tractor beam polarity?
Wesley Crusherism 4tl.
Oh and I LOVE the vid. Carebear tears are sooooooooooooooooooooo tasty.
No need to ignore me, btw... I don't play with carebears anyway.
or claimed that Star Trek became better after Roddenberry died .
I'm not sure I see why this should be lumped with the other stuff. To be honest, in my opinion...in at least some ways, Star Trek DID improve after Gene Roddenberry's death, but only in some ways, and really only with DS9. In other ways, such as with much of Voyager and most of Enterprise, it declined in quality and value.
So...it's really a mixed bag of stuff, and I'm completely unsure as to why we should lump it together with the other stuff.
Other than that minor quibble of mine, I believe I may decide to follow your example when it comes to placing others on ignore.
Funny thing is, if this was the other way around there would be 47 pages rather than 17 and all Feds asking for the Klinks to be banned cause it was wrong... oh well carebears bug abuse and I guess will get away with it.
Absolutely, yes. Ban everyone that is not into the total carebearism ideology and about "everybody should have the same", ban everyone that is a more competent player than the mediocre (at best) casual who plays 2 hours "just to relax".
True, do that. Kill everything truly awesome, destroy all personal efforts, because it's all about the carebears and their ideology of totalitarian mediocrity.
ROFL that was the funniest thing ive seen in awhile.... I dont know why you all are yelling ban ban ban they did nothing against the TOS... God forbid people actaully get to have fun in this game.

No, Freud forbid... I have a theory about where this carebearism comes from.
However, as far as I'm aware he created Star Trek when he was still alive, so how does that in any way detract from my belief it got better when he died?
From what I understand, after Trek started to move from Roddenberrys ideal future for humans it started to loose viewers.
The thing that set the show apart from so many other sci-fi shows was it showed humans being the ones who where enlightened, most other sci-fi shows showed us how we are now a.l.a Babylon 5.
Also. Pure griefing, nuff said.
Permaban.
BTW this is not PVP and not carebearism to call for a ban. Im a PvPer, this is griefing. It is exploiting ingame mechanics. They should have more than just the bridge on the game and have people respawn in different areas of the ship randomly to give them a chance of running.
As for self destructing in SOL, that should not be allowed in the first place, its a player hub ffs, and self destruct should not be hurting allied ships there.
Even in WOW as a level 25 getting camped at the graveyard, if you knew the terrian and could hide you had a chance of hearthing, right now there is no possibility of escape.

Maybe I'm a bit of an elitist (jerk ) concerning Star Trek. I grew up with TOS and TNG, I loved the TOS pilot that was rejected for being to cerebral. Then Roddenberry died, and suddenly Star Trek wasn't about preserving the peace by outsmarting the enemies anymore but about an all-out war. While in TNG humanity was finally beyond the belief in gods, DS9 presented us a half-god as a commander, a bunch of gods in a wormhole (in heaven), a bunch of demons in a cave with lava (hell) and a bunch of primitives worshiping them.
While Voyager wasn't a very good series it still came nearest to what Star Trek originally was about after that.
Then Enterprise came and retconned everything, made a Temporal Cold War that extinguished billions of lives throughout the timeline without changing them etc.
And please don't get me started on the last movie.
I don't have anything against people who say that they liked Enterprise or the new movie, but I think flat-out saying that Star Trek became better after Roddenberry died very disrespectful.
By the way, putting people ingame on ignore works in the forum too. It's great.:)
I don't really have a dog in this fight. I find the self destruct thing annoying, but I've only witnessed it once. If it happened daily I'd probably be really upset. Especially if Cryptric didn't do anything about it. I think they should just not make it possible to self destruct in space dock.
But the bridge thing? If someone I didn't know invited me to their bridge I'd refuse. Thats just common sense, at least to me. Heck, they might have tried to get me once or twice. In the last few nights I have recieved team invites from people I don't know in sector space. I always refuse them since I don't accept blind invites anyway. Inviting me to a bridge and I don't know ytou? Why in the name of Spock would I accept? Its not like you're going to show me something there I can't see on my own bridge.
Having had personal experience of goonies in another game they are a bunch of idiots who are out to destroy all gaming communitys and have publicly said this in the game concerned.
They even went as far as calling thier griefplay a jehad not that long after 911 and really destroyed the game in question for a lot of new players. I persoanlly found this offencive and they cannot deny any of this at all as they made a public decleration about thier intent on
These idiots should be banned from any gaming community they are a part of for thier actions.
The gonnies will go all out to destroy this game hence why till they are sorted i WILL not subscribe to the game, This may sound harsh but that a personal feeling from me as they will go all out to either take over the game or destroy it.
On a foot note if a GM did endorse this action (which i really do not think they did) then they need to be taken to one side and sacked.

All the idle boasts about being server #1 although 3 other guilds out perform them in every area.
oh well, back to game - this thread warrants no more of my time. /bored
Jesus christ will you shut the **** up already.
uh, what the hell? i'm currently being billed 29.95/month, that's ****ed up

This is the best thing I've seen in a long time. The reactions here are almost as amusing.
How does one become a Starfleet Dentist?

hehe, bug abusing AND a vid to prove it, nice one
any GMs around? :P

Carebears are just sad, incompetent, spoiled kids who want effortless free goodies. Hope they get permaganked.
