I didn't install any plug in or another external solution to this forum because IMHO, the original plataform should give you those solutions, if it doesn't then is not as good as they said, maybe they can fix things, so i will wait to see what else they do with this Vanilla....
I use it primarily on my tablet, mobile experience is improving, but page formats for landscape mode, acute problem which isn't a huge problem, but still needs a bit of polish.
I've been away from home for a few days so I really can't speak to the desktop experience, because I was having to use ARC, to stay logged in, I don't know where that issue has been addressed or not yet.

I keep using the Quote button instead of the edit button for some reason. Sigh. The need to go to the upper icon and then click on "edit" is really annoying.
Only problem with these fixes is that they don't install on my work computer. I normally only view these boards when at work. And the security implemented on the work environment wont allow these extensions to be installed. SO unless there is some way to bypass the security without getting in trouble, I can't use these "fixes". I need the server side to be changed.
And I still can't use any of my other badges I have paid for.

they are working on some server side fixes, what exactly.. i do not know!? and the last i heard about our titles was something mentioned last week, saying they were working on them

Hmm, cryptic is not the ones doing the forum migration (im pretty sure of it) and it doesnt take that long to accomodate a vanilla forum. In my humble opinion, this is what we get.

I'm still trying to figure out who stayed and who left . I'm also seeing a number of unknown names whom could be some of those who left and / or just new account's created 4 trolling .
There are still a lot of things needing addressed. But I've started to warm to them now that they don't look like a big bland grey wall.
I'm liking the new Romulan theme that got added, but I still have to toggle Grayscale off then on to get the theme to repeat all the way to the bottom of the page.
Glad you like it. Like the other STO themes, it includes edited parts of the code from grayscale so you shouldn't actually need to run that at the same time anyway. It's designed to be a standalone theme.

Well here's the thing (and this may be because I use Opera) with grayscale off I only get the theme picture once at the top of the page and everything below is a solid color [green, red, or blue].
However using grayscale in Opera the theme picture repeats itself all the way down the page, and I like seeing the picture repeated as opposed to the plain single color background.
It's just a personal preference.

Haha, yeah the direct forum view is much better. It looks better without all the ARC banners and it's more responsive than the embedded version too. After I figured that out I did the same and got rid of the other bookmark.

Well I now have Greasemonkey and have the enhancements running, much better, now hopefully the PWE team can implement something similar into Vanilla so that I can remove 3rd party stuff.

Seriously? This is an upgrade from the old forums? It took me forever to get out of the PWI mothership and into here only to find I need to look more to even find the new posts I'm interested in. Star Trek Online: Back to the Future where forums of the future are 1992.
