patch 4gb

is it right that this week spatch is over 4GB?

    Mine says 1.25 Gbs

    3.8gb here and only part way in. figure an hour before i am in, give or take connection speed.

    either pre-patching if there was any or the streaming download is active in the launcher, meaning you only get the core stuff and the rest downloads as your loading up each map on the game.

    Yep. 715mb downloaded, 2000/3851mb patched. And yeah, feels like it's being leisurely about it.



    (hmm, perhaps that's the discrepancy in sizes people are listing - 1.25gb of actual download, 3.8gb of patched files.)

    1253mb. Seems to be patching it rather slowly on top of the huge size as well, probably due to how many people are patching. Well, fortunately I wasn't actually planning to play much tonight I just wanted to get patched up. Still the size is surprising, I figured it'd be bigger than usual but not by that much.

    Mine was over 3Gs too. Still going with about a G left, been going on three hours patching soon
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Probably 1.25GB for on-demand patching and 3.8GB for full patch (i know i disabled on-demand patching, and I get 3.8GB patch).

    EDIT: Also, I downloaded 14MB in 20 minutes... yaaaay... :|

    mine is 1253 as well, but this has to be the slowest download i have ever experienced in sto.

    *Edit: and very slow, but I guess I kind of expected that.

    I'v been sitting at the Risa loading screen for a few minutes, now thinking maybe I should have full patched.

    I think mine said 6 gigs, and I am patched up to last week. Gonna wait until things settle down before I patch otherwise I'm not doing ANYTHING.

    seems to of gotten slower, first 10 minutes made around 85mb, about 20 minutes later and only made all of 30mb.

    Is it right that this week's patch is still at 1% for me after an hour?! (Whereas other patches usually take mere seconds).

    1253mb, but might as well be 700gb with the ridiculous throttling they have going on...

    as of right now another 18 minutes in.. only got 20mb so its speeding up slightly. yeah, i thought it would be done in an hour but the connection speeds.. looks like tomorrow morning... if im lucky.

    I've never seen patch downloads this slow. It may be a big patch but jeez that's crawling along.

    Must of relocated some of the patch servers resources to reduce in game lag :P

    Mine just finally hit the 1% mark after about 10 minutes and it's just completely stopped. Fantastic. The number of mb is not even moving now.

    yeah same here - looks like the patch server might have given up the ghost under the strain ;D

    Same here. Coming up on 10 minutes. Watching it patch up Risa one byte at a time.

    Perhaps prepatching may be in order next year?

    I've got a 3851Mb to download... Current download speed it making dial-up look like broadband!

    It's been going for around 20-30 minutes now and only on 24.7MB - 1% Received! :eek:

    Run a quick speed test to check it wasn't me! (it's not!)
