Krystal Ijoula: *raises an eyebrow for a moment* Partially. Another part is that she's also responsible for more than one ship and has faced threats that are bigger than the Borg. She tries, but sometimes she feels alone. Having friends and family there to remind her that she's not alone is a big help. But I worry that someday someone will figure that out and attack her through them. She doesn't think about it, but I do.
Doesn't help that her rep is also pretty well known in the Alpha Quadrant, and everyone expects her to be some big, legendary hero when she's no different from anyone else. If its not hero worship, its a one sided rivalry or an inflated expectation of results.

Anyways... She doesn't mean to come across as distant at times. Some situations put her in a position where she doesn't know how to react. Like this instance... its almost like her maternal side and her rational side both just derped because... she doesn't even know what happened and feels like she just stepped into a situation she shouldn't have.

Kara: I know you’re not doing this just for me! But bringing people back from the dead never ends well! And I’m the only one that knows about any of this stuff I’ve been studying g it since before you were even born and it’s dangerous knowledge and even more dangerous to put it in practice. You know what happens to the souls that get used up in these kinds of rituals? They get thrown into the garbage can of the after life. The abyss where they slowly lose all sense of self and if they’re lucky enough they’ll just be reduced to nothing but most are taken by fiends and devourers and slowly drained of their essence in a very painful and lengthy manner. Are you prepared to go thru with this knowing that such a fate is what would become of the souls consumed in this ritual? I sure as hell know seras would never be ok with this.....

Briana-Keeva: Kara murdered her own mother who was... basically a second mother to bri... right in front of her... she just wanted them to make peace and now seras is dead.... she thinks its all her fault... Bri needed krystal there... how would krystal feel if someone she cared about was killed in front of her and she knew deep down it was her own fault.... i guess she needed the protective momma fox more than derpy, out of place krystal... just do what feels right rather than feeling out of place... help her not be too embarrassed to look her in the eyes as she was crying her heart out.... i feel like if she could die, she'd want to right now...

kara: there isnt a single time where life is ever fair..... o realize now that her decisions were driven by fear.... when she moved her hand to my face i felt it all.... her shame, her regret, her anger at herself, her deep inflicted pain and self hatred. the worst part is this entire time i thought she knew i was suffering but she didnt.... when i was a child, and i mean me not jakara, so long ago i lay awake in the alley of the peasant huts and id cry and beg her to come and take me from this literal hell i was thrust into, i always thought she heard but simply ignored it but she never knew anything of my suffering, *her voice seems uneven in the sense of mental instability more so then any form of crying.* i was just a thing to be used with no regard for how I felt. a slave to do what ever those TRIBBLE wanted, back breaking labor was the easiest of it then they found out i couldn't die at least not from anything they could do to me
so they started experimenting on me, dissecting me and trying to find out what the hell i was..... they eventually gave up but as i got older the humans in their depravity eventually started thinking "hmm looks f*ckable to me" and i was thrown into a brothel and used as a play thing for kings and emperors alike. tossed around and used..... no matter what disgusting thing they did to me i would always regenerate like nothing happened... at least physically. ive seen the true depths of cruel depravity that humanity.... mortal kind in general are capable of and indulge on a daily basis. they called me an inhuman monster when they were the monsters! so i killed them...... some times i did it, sometimes i made families kill each other, sometimes id hold a raffle of sorts to see how each one died. there may be some left but for the most part i left that galaxy a barren waste land and then i moved on to the next, then the next, then the next. *her eyes start to widen as a large unsetting grin forms while she talks.* sure i probably killed a lot of innocent people in my rage but as you say life isnt fair is it? *she starts to laugh.* it never has been and it never will be! *her laugh turns into insane maniacal laughter*

Kara: look I say innocent in the sense that she didn’t deserve to die, as for zan well he tried in his own way. Tried to dissuade my anger and calm me down but in the end he isn’t the type to just take control like that. He lets me make my own mistakes and pay for them. So that’s why..... so anyway what now?
