Not only was it very engaging but very well polished, and the possibilities that you have opened up for yourselves in regards to the ending conversation are great!
I noticed a problem with the Hoh'Sus BOP while I was fighting with the Bortas.. it's wings weren't out -- they were flat, directly vertical downwards. I would have taken a screenshot if I wasn't busy shooting things ;P
Again, well done Devs. I'll enjoy playing this mission more times on several characters (and trying the different routes I can take).
The EV suit works, but when I exit into space, everything goes pitch black. Can only see some colors from the sun, but my char and buildings are pitch black.

Good QA there Cryptic.
Same problem as you. All my friends are saying the same thing to.
So I keep hearing about the pitch black spacewalk. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this issue. Please post any screenshots you may have of this as well as what graphical settings you are running at.
+1 for the arrival of various flag ships
+1 for space flight in an EV suit
+1 for the story connecting that other sphere
+1 for Cooper. I sussed he wasn't who he appeared to be quite early on, though I thought Cryptic were going to throw a huge curve ball in there and he'd turn out to be an Iconian or something. :P
+1 for Tuvok
+1 for the apparent disarray of this new alliance (a nice touch I thought)
I must say, all this talk of gateways to other sectors of the galaxy ... almost like gateways to other galaxies. Stargate anyone? I suppose this would explain why the latest Undine sounded like a Wraith Queen. :P I care not about the similarities, I quite like them.
I guess also that we now know it is the Undine, and not the Borg/Krenim/Hirogen that are shown to be fighting the Voth. It's the Undine. Hopefully we'll get some reason as to why they're doing this (cause Janeway did kind of open up a dialogue with them at one point).
Now go and chase the little Qs and lets us know how you managed
I have no desire. The Dyson Ships don't appeal to me. I run Engineering characters, so wouldn't make that much use out of them anyway. I'll be running the episode three times per character (so I get the set (minus the warp core)) and then I'm done.
I'm praising Cryptic on the episode here, the Q-play I've little interest in.
I mean, about the door you need to open when you are in space. Who designes a space station that has 3 locks for a single door located in space just if somebody needs to override it? Who wouldn't take the Voth Exosuit for the rest of the mission if you found it there? Or at least blow it up? And the original Dr. Cooper, not the Undine one, really must be a great-great-great-great-great-grandson of this guy. Aka, just as hard to live by. I really wanted to use my bathleth to decapitate him and then spike the head next to my chair on my bridge.
The Undine part was pretty good though, and gave me much hope for the future missions.
All in all, I didn't really like the mission, but it sets good things for the future. So I'll keep waiting for the next one.
Wait, we can go kill him? I never got that - I just got this freaky ending where... well, I won't spoil it for you guys.
I assume we kill him, he beams off and we then proceed to shoot all the things. Then there are no more things to shoot, and he stops taunting us, so I assume we got him.
Good mission all around 2 thumbs up. Now here's the question who's going to be the next voice actor for the next episode?
God I hope it's Ezri Dax. Be nice to see the USS Vesta also.

Annoyingly, the ground combat is more of the same nonsense. Shields and armor feel useless, regardless of tier and quality. Is it the level scaling that does this ?
With full purple gear, with MACO XI everything and powers active, the second group of enemies (spec-ops) outright murdered my guy. Who was crouched. Even large hypo and emergency shield capacitor did nothing to save me.
My MACO XI shield was, as always, one shot drained by a random mook.
And yes, I have skill points in ground abilities. Not that it matters, since the same thing kept happening in my previous ground-heavy build weeks ago in Voth Battlezone.
Not bad though, as a featured episode. Outside the icky ground combat.
i will be honest i did not enjoy this mission. you got the 8472 infiltrator cooper (consistently whining away and prattle in the 8472 fight. would make wesley crusher blush with envy!), a clueless Tuvok who doesnt assert himself as an admiral should.
then this whole Bortasqu captain claiming this and that along with that romulan commander without any reason to. it doesnt make any sense, why suddenly turn against your allies for protection in the middle of a fight to save the quadrant? there would be no honor in it.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

Try using Voth armor.
I went through the mission on the first try with no issues at all. Then again, I was playing my Tac toon - so I used Away Team and the orb that spawns two copies of myself to help in the fight.
But why are the Undine coming back to be a threat again?
Janeway negotiated a truce with them! Tuvok was part of it on Voyager...
We know from way, way back in the campaign that somebody using Iconian technology (long suspected to be the Romulans, but not known for certain) **** all over that agreement, and the Undine were not particularly concerned with who did it, they'd just burn everything to make sure.
But why are the Undine coming back to be a threat again?

The Iconians attacked them and framed the Alpha Quadrant for doing it. The attack was severe enough to make them want to purge the entire galaxy. We found the Gateway they used to carry out the attack way back in Season 2.
I was Playing the mission when the server went crash...but I was enjoying it...
But for a second there I forgot one litle thing...
It was and is a SINGLE PLAYER MISSION!!! WTH craptic??? This feels already to much as a single player game...and noww you give us ANOTHER single player mission? in a MMO?!?
I dont get it...every feature episodes before...the devidians...the breen...etc were MULTIPLAYER...you know? Its one of the M's in MMO...
And now...you give us anoter Single player mission..
Good job making the mission, but...very bad on the single player part
While the mission is not too bad (will be annoying to grind 3 time, like SOI), and Tuvok is awesome, I have a huge gripe about it.
As a fed Romulan player, I was treated as a fed in the end. I had to basically betray my own, and ask them why the Romulan should be the one in charge. Then, I told them my people (ie the feds) would stay alongside them to help them.
I hope this is a bug you intent to solve. Because it's bad. And again, it shows you'd better test your mission, because it seems at Cryptic nobody play Rom, and nobody was able to see that.
Obviously the downside is the server is now down :-P Hoping you guys think about extending another day or two to the end if this keeps up. Far too much to do in the game and less and less time to do it in.
Also the episode itself had quite a few typos, dialog vs. written word issues, and an odd minor graphical glitch or two. Beyond that... THAT WAS AWESOME!!! Please tell me you'll be adding more EV suit things like that. It's been something I've been dreaming about ever since you guys put out the DS9 episode. Space walks are fun. The new ship is nearly to the point of being overpowered. Wow! Of course that might have something to do with the bridge crew as well, I'm sure. And it would be really bad if the entire solar facility was just no more. I want more of that: Exploring what the Dyson Sphere has in it, not just combat.
EDIT: Forgot to add, the main thing I like about the Episode is how rich the story arc appears to be headed. Unlike what another person on this thread said, I see the logic of the Undine making a come back. Reason: They are almost like the cancerous immune system of fluidic space, xenophobic in nature and not trusting. Sure Janeway may have negotiated a cease fire, but I wouldn't call it by any means a lasting peace. If they think they can get the advantage to eliminate the perceived threat, they will do it. Can't wait to see what you do with this.
Haven't gotten a chance yet to look at the rest.
Currently assuming that the server is down due to glitches. Also saw many issues with the Party Goers in the Academy: Some non-reactive, packages with corner clipping, etc.
Looking forward to the next few weeks. EXTREMELY excited. THANK YOU!
Loved it. Great maps. Good story. Lots of accolades. Ground combat could have been a bit more involved but still. Nice space fight at the end. Great mission and well done cryptic. I so wish every mission from the start had been like these last 3 FE.

There are reports of bugs with the first generator activation and the EV suit not working properly. Please check bug forums for that.

It's not difficult, time consuming or anything really bad.
It's just incredibly boring. I wouldn't mind if it was 10 minutes long so long as I was having fun doing it.
Take the Risian Summer Event for example, I was still having fun flying around the island several days before the event finished. That was fun.
Was I right in hearing there was another way of obtaining these 40 Qmendations (without using the Lobi's I have saved up)?

Nope, it's either the Party Crasher mini-game or the lobi, the FE only gives its bonus once.
My review in short: ILLOGICAL.

how do you get all 3 EV suits?
do you pick one eventually in the mission.
or is it hidden like the Obelisk drones were?

I think each play through you get a different one. you need to do it 3 times for the gear anyway.
