Wow- - awesome job on the new episode. I'm definitely going to repeat the mission for the Dyson set, and may do more than a few toons for the full ship. Although knowing I can buy a better version later on, I may just wait on earning a ship for each toon.
First - the quality of the atmosphere, the writing and staging was way above par for what we've seen in the past. The level of finish and polish was excellent.
The flying suits took more than a little effort for me to use. Personally I disliked the Risa ship, so I never worked out how to fly the damned jet-packs, so this mission was more difficult than I expected. Patience one out - and if I had any advice for those who have trouble - slow the Frack down.
The 'surprise' villains at the end - very cool and a nice tie-in. Can't wait to see how this will build.
Now as to the ship.
I went from moments of holy-TRIBBLE to WTF? There were simply too many things to try and too little time to wrap my noggin around what to use that gameplay was difficult. When I started randomly clicking things, the battle finally started to turn my way.
What the experience left me with was the urge to do it again immediately. The SCI destroyer - while I doubt it will ever by a DPS monster, it will be a fun ship to play.
What he said. I only started a few months ago so I wasn't up to speed on my jetpack/EV suit piloting the first time either (I actually almost lost altitude multiple times and left orbit). But very enjoyable.
Can't be sure, but there might be heavy elements of RNG involved. Once I beamed in to the station and found the mech, but when I restarted from the same point via beam-out/in, the mech was replaced by the Voth stalker.
Wildboar, give it a rest. You want attention, go get it from your own thread. This is about the shiny ship and it's impeccable design that turns stoic Starfleet Officers into five year old children in a Science museum.

"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP"
I'm not sure if it's random but when you get to the room where the 2 doors close on you and the swarmers come spewing out, after killing them - one of the doors opens and I thought it was the same one till the third time i played and the other door opened instead, a completely different path.

Only gone through it once, but I love this mission. It seems like a while since we have had a proper episode (looking at the Voth arc) and this delivered on all fronts: varied locations, guest star, branching paths accolades, replayability, and *great* loot. I only wish the rest of the anniversary episode was up to snuff with it. All in all, one of the best episodes so far. If only some of the older ones could get a redo up to this level of polish.
Only one engineering skill that wasn't EPtS or aux2Bat, and it only tickled targets.
Cannon spread was useless both in the fact you gotta gimp the ship to use it and the last thing you want is a lot of ships firing on it at once with its really low hull points. CRF would be better.
Least the science skills were a bit better with me with a good grav well and hazard emitters, but I think anyone that says the mission Dyson worked well wasn't a tac captain, because the ship didn't play to tac strength at all.
Can't wait to have my own and give it a single-target setup that's a lot more useful.

acctually it played dang well with my fed trill tact captain lol.
The captain gets headsniped, and Tuvok says "I sense we may not be alone in here."
Is that just some strange coincidence of timing, or does Tuvok have a fantastically macabre sense of humour for a Vulcan? That really made me lol.
Would just like to mention again (for anyone that wasn't following). Since the good Doctor is wearing a TWoK Command Vest, is there a chance we could get that as a uniform variant?

I really enjoyed this featured event mission. It is a great piece of entertaining game art.
What I particularly appreciate:
+ it is story centered, no monotonous clickfest
+ multiple choice based action, replay friendly
+ balanced variation of enemies, sights, tasks
+ connects and continues TNG, Vayager storylines
And for now, i found nothing negative to point out.
based on the name of the suit I got I suspect it has to do with which option you chose when you select how you want to get the station to help, or if you want to go it alone.
I could be very wrong, I was going to try a second run and see if I got a different suit this time and the name seems to fit with an option I select.
Also I'm going to see if it will let me step out and die in one of my nukera set suits or the vet special reward suit.

You MAY be right
1st run I picked the Laser option and got the Marksman EV suit
2nd run, I picked the Swarmers option and got the Enforcer EV suit
didn't get the chance for the 3rd run yet.

I can confirm he is right. I've done all three now and each gives the different EVA suit. Interestingly, I think the Beam Option might actually be the hardest as its the only one I nearly died on.
This mission was something new. I played it twice, but no matter what I decide about swarms and no help, puzzle correctly console, no changes at all. Second time I didn't gave a phaser to Copper, that small Undine TRIBBLE

I think cooper mentioned the suits thermo protection crapping out just after you enter the second part of the station.
That reply had absolutely nothing to do with the post at all.
Sweet Borg on bread, are you just blindly defending without even reading the posts you quote?
That's seriously Pakled levels of lazy, man!
