Hello,
Would appreciate if you could review "A Personal Favour" (nikkojt, Federation). I know it's in evil70th's queue, but I'd like a couple of opinions.
Thanks!
I put your review in the game system. Thanks for making your mission!
a side not. it is in a several part story. part 1 and 3 is is out of reweiv. but you might want to play them as well as hunting animals to get the background story.
Redeem series episode 1 and 2
reweiv section
these happened after the event of plauge. they are undergoing a slow rewamp process at this tim. updating some NPC to the new romulan costumes. but it is playable
i forgot something.
you will notice several Fleet ufpp. those are my fleet dedicated foundry missions.
they are not needed to play. you want to go ahead. otherwise. nothing to see here move along
I put your review in the game system. Thanks for making your mission!
Thanks for your feedback. I'm making some changes as suggested.
(And yes - this is my first mission. I'm glad it came out okay!)
I am NikkoJT, Foundry author and terrible player. Follow me!
There used to be a picture here, but they changed signatures and I can't be bothered to replace it.
Change the begin button to the right mission title.
On the first space map, I do not think it is really needed since all you do is talk to a ship. You could just put the dialogue for it in the mission entrance at the panel on ESD.
I liked how you named all the NPCs on the first ground map R.R.W. Inquirer.
Lots of dialogue options on the Inquirer is nice.
How did you do that custom viewscreen?
The warp effect and transition to the asteroid field is awesome!!
I feel like I'm in another dimension.
More good warp effects in the next map. Multiple dialogue options are always good.
The Chamber: Very nice floor effect.
Nice little puzzle.
Beautiful space map with the black hole thing.
Sorry I couldn't finish your mission. I can tell a lot of work has been put into what I have seen, well done!
You might want to delete the first map and just put it into the system entry dialogue. The first map doesn't really serve much purpose
.
Risa: NPC optional dialogue is always good.
Bridge: The bridge looks nice.
Tandem Warehouse: I liked how you got the siren sound on the entire map, how did you do this? I also liked the outpost you built. I found a Romulan proposing to someone lol.
Forest: Nice little camp.
Wedding: Several npcs are named (npc named 01) Should change that.
Risa space: Change the asteroid to something not asteroid 01.
Well done. However, I suggest making a pass through the entire mission. There are lot of grammatical errors that could make things a lot cleaner.
Plague, part 1
ESD: Multiple dialogue options are always good. Might want to add a few more npcs to the area you play in to give the station a feeling of it being "alive." The console for beaming back to the ship is hovering against the wall.
Earth space: Suggest changing interact to something like, "Beam up supplies" etc. This may not be needed as you only do one thing. A change of the dialogue to say you have beamed up the supplies before leaving the last map would work.
Bridge: Suggest changing "go to next map" to something else
.
Tandera Prime: Nice map. I like the stations in the small asteroid field.
Station: You should add more npcs to give the place a feeling of life.
I.K.S. Bridge: Crewmen have 03 at the end of their names. Suggest changing that.
When you leave Tandera Prime, suggest removing that map. No need for it just to warp in my opinion.
As with the previous mission, I suggest you go back and check all dialogue for grammatical errors.
Initial dialogue with the Admiral: Multiple options are always good.
Hotep system: Optional dialogue and ship names are a nice touch.
U.S.S. Bastion: You get a point for having a Caitian npc . More optional dialogue is always good.
Sibirian: Deja-vu. I do believe you can use the backdrop from the actual STF for this map. It would create a closer recreation.
Starbase 82: I like how you made it super dark and creepy as you went further down. Several tough battles but evenly distributed around.
U.S.S. Bastion: Nothing major to note here.
This was a short but well crafted missions with lots of dialogue variety. It felt like a fun solo-stf on the ground portion of starbase 82. I was kinda hoping there would be a big ambush in the boss room. Regardless, you did a great job! Well done!
Thanks for the review. This was my first Foundry mission so I thought I'd keep it simple so as not to cause too many headaches. Now that I'm getting my sea legs, I hope that my next mission will be something much better.
As for the Sibiran map, I used the premade one, so maybe they didn't have the STF background in that one. I'll look into updating that.

Right click on the map, and select a background from there.
Description: Memory Alpha has been detecting some unusual readings from a nebula located somewhere in the Delta Volanis Cluster. They have requested a Starfleet vessel to investigate, and Stafleet has chosen you.
Three weeks after the Shiassi incident on Ferasa, you are called back to Qo'nos at the request of Ambassador S'taass. Has the smoke cleared from that dark hour? Or has the darkness just started to move in?

For Federation captain, about 30-40 minutes playtime. Be sure to have remodulators.
